I rarely judge other's music negatively, because it is their expression and I find that beautiful. But, WOW, that was really horrible. If you watch Ted's own reaction at the end of the vid you will see that he looks like he feels the same way. i did not feel any emotion or presence in this cover at all. Yuck.

He's definitely getting there. The first time I saw his band perform was about 7 years ago, just before Hearts of Oak came out and the venue had about 30 people in it. The last Ted Leo show I went to was packed elbows to asses in a much larger venue.

Besides, who needs fame when you're the hardest working man in indie rock. If he doesn't tour your area more than twice a year, you probably live in the Alaskan wild.
