Hey try this out (its good) about a cup of butter, garlic salt a little season all and some parsley, add everything together in a pan, melt the butter while mixing everything together, once butter melted add shimp (cook 3-5 minutes) when done throw it all in a bowl and let sit or refridgerate it so butter thickins back up then eat the butter is like a sauce, an yea i know butter is bad but whatever u eat what u want ill do the same lol
well for scampi (or prawns prov) it is a "butter, wine, garlic sauce". But typically, this is prepared by first heating both butter and canola/veg oil to hot, then saute the shrimp, then add garlic on the sides of the pan bring them down the sides of the pan. then delglaze with wine, and then finish with the "shit ton" of butter (1/2 cubed unsalted butter). then finish with tomatoes (or green oinions or both) and fresh squeezed lemon. Just dont overcook shrimp; remove and finish sauce if needed

everybody complaining about alot of butter, this is shrimp scampi. It usually requires 3/4 to a cup of butter.

never, never, never EVER use "cooking" wine. Head to the the package store and get a decent vintage..........
