I would like to believe that. I really would. You have NO IDEA how much I would like to believe it. I grew up in a preacher's home and was inundated with Jesus fanatics who seemed to live with that joy all the time, but it eludes me. I just don't get it. All I've ever seen is a God who seems to play favorites and is then totally indifferent to everyone else.

Between me and sceptics,is I have an experience, you have a theology. No point in a debate. Till you see it with your own eyes, I would not expect you to beleive.
The effects of healing have been shown many times to be by adrenal overload. It is a natural, yet temporary (usually) effect. Belief is strong - AND - if you wish to believe it is God, great - enjoy. If you wish to believe in science and pharmacology, fantastic.
I am just staying objective on this. No need to commit my beliefs in another path as first, I have already my path, and secondly, appeal to emotion tends to cloud reality.

I just made comment that there has NEVER been ANY record of limbs which were dismembered grow back - no eyes, once removed, grow back in, etc. When you have some medical proof of such things, I am sure the medical profession will be most interested in hearing from you.

I think this is great. Maybe some of these young people who are touched by God's Love will choose not to have an abortion, or they will give themselves as missionaries to go feed the world. God allows us a freewill. If He stopped abortions it would go against your freedom to choose. Why don't you blame the abortion doctors for the abortions. Different strokes for different folks. I am spiritual without being religious. I carve my owm way no middle man required thank you. The god I believe in doesnt send anyone to hell. Hey Seth. Jesus is definitely feeding people and stopping abortions through Christian missionaries and groups. Healing is awesome to see but remember, Jesus doesn't heal people just for the sake of healing people. Through healings, like in this video, Jesus is glorified and lifted up. God delights in that. It's also true that not all Christians are ideal people who are 100% devoted to saving the world. But many of us try.
If Jesus has the power to feed all of the hungry children and stop all of the abortions, why doesn't he? I think he should be more concerned with ridding the world of negativity than being "glorified and lifted up." I would rather be a part of a religion with a selfless god than a cocky one who needs to get his priorities in line, I think.
In Christianity, we are all sinners and we should be grateful for God's grace and mercy upon our lives. If a God truly existed, rather He be a Christian God or any other supreme being, would we even have a right to demand things from Him? Christianity is about God being made known and glorified. That is why the focus shouldn't be on the healing but the Healer Himself..
God uses people as his hands and feet but if we don't get out and do something how can he use us-what are you personally doing? How are you making a difference in the lives of others? I dont have any issue with those that want to believe in any organized religion. My issue is that a few ruin it for everyone. I feel this does an injustice to us as a species via what I call reverse evolution. They are supported financially by their brothers and sisters in Christ here at home. We will give up nice lifestyles here to support our missionaries to 3rd world countries. there are thousands of documented cases of people being healed. back when A.A. Allen, Jack Cole, Oral Roberts, etc... held crusades certain states made them have doctors and judges examine before and after so that the men of God would not be sued for "malpractice" so to speak. and some of the doctors brought in as well as the judges were non beleivers as your self.
i myself have been healed and its documented. doctor was even shocked. i've seen bones put back in peoples bodies, eyes healed, arms and legs grow out. so its really to late for someone to tell me that God dosen't heal. explain how cancer falls off peoples bodies. how eye that were document blind from birth see. it easy to say its not real untill you see it

Atheism, to my understanding, is the lack of belief in gods of any kind. Faith is the belief in things without evidence. Seems a contradiction to think that faith is healthy and not practice it yourself. In my mind, faith is only healthy in one way, and that is that it reduces stress because you believe that an invisible man in the sky will help you with your problems. Personally, I'd rather deal with my problems head on than hold my hands together and talk to the sky.

The effects of healing have been shown many times to be by adrenal overload. It is a natural, yet temporary (usually) effect. Belief is strong - AND - if you wish to believe it is God, great - enjoy. If you wish to believe in science and pharmacology, fantastic.

Different strokes for different folks. I am spiritual without being religious. I carve my owm way no middle man required thank you. The god I believe in doesnt send anyone to hell. There is no hell, no punishment for not adhering to certain rules. Just love. That is what I choose to believe. Its not Christianity, it is what my own mind accepts and I am happy with that.

Healing is awesome to see but remember, Jesus doesn't heal people just for the sake of healing people. Through healings, like in this video, Jesus is glorified and lifted up. God delights in that. It's also true that not all Christians are ideal people who are 100% devoted to saving the world. But many of us try.

If a God truly existed, rather He be a Christian God or any other supreme being, would we even have a right to demand things from Him? Christianity is about God being made known and glorified. That is why the focus shouldn't be on the healing but the Healer Himself..

God uses people as his hands and feet but if we don't get out and do something how can he use us-what are you personally doing? How are you making a difference in the lives of others? Many people say where is he in these moments yet we spend so much time turning him away and then complain if he does not respond the way we want. I dont have any issue with those that want to believe in any organized religion. My issue is that a few ruin it for everyone. Some poeple take the bible as the word of god and them they misinterpret it taking these impossible super natural events as truth. I feel this does an injustice to us as a species via what I call reverse evolution. En masse people buy these FAIRY TALES as truth and abandon logical thinking which over enough time could make us evolve back in to idiots.

I suggest you give Jesus a try.
All the research behind the religion and whatnot are good but maybe you'll find something different about Christianity, maybe not.
But all I know for sure is that, it is better to be slow to believe rather than quick to turn it down.

Many Christians are in Africa and elsewhere in the world, joyfully sacrificing their lives to help those who are starving or dying from aids. They are supported financially by their brothers and sisters in Christ here at home. We will give up nice lifestyles here to support our missionaries to 3rd world countries. Hi, I'm the girl interviewing in the video. Just wanted to let you know that none of this was staged. God is really big and He doesn't need anyone exaggerating for Him. I'll post the rest of the videos. In life, sometimes people get healed. Sometimes they don't. There's mystery involved but this is what is true- He's real and alive and people get healed even by being prayed for over cell phones. There is no limit to the power and love of Jesus. He loves you so much!

I can simulate "jesus" power by rubbing prayed hands together. heat on a wound soothes pain away. FACT. i am not attacking religion i do not follow religion or atheism cuz that defeats the purpose. But this is a pointless display of ability. they are self proclaiming this kid has power of jesus. try performing this so called miracle without physical contact. by pure "prayer". the flat fact is the heat from his hands and massaging motion and willingness of their mind makes them forget the pain.

the sad part this is all fake. he didn't heal them he used a quick fix technique where you clap your hands together and rub them like making a fire the heat from your hands soothes pain temporarily. thereafter the soothing feeling takes over your brain "believes" it is healed and disregards pain out of belief that there is no pain. it is nothing merely a distraction from the pain.power of mind not god.these people have no minds if they put all their faith in god and none in themselves.

I have serious doubts about even that. I wouldn't put it past them to be members of the religious group themselves, and only pretending to be "cool kids we just happened to bump into at Disneyland". Odd, that they only happened to have "neck/shoulder issues", and not some serious illness where we could see the before/after. It's all baloney, and it's a shame they're lying "for jesus". Lyying in order to recruit impressionable kids to your religion is a real travesty.

there are thousands of documented cases of people being healed. back when A.A. Allen, Jack Cole, Oral Roberts, etc... held crusades certain states made them have doctors and judges examine before and after so that the men of God would not be sued for "malpractice" so to speak. and some of the doctors brought in as well as the judges were non beleivers as your self.

i myself have been healed and its documented. doctor was even shocked. i've seen bones put back in peoples bodies, eyes healed, arms and legs grow out. so its really to late for someone to tell me that God dosen't heal. explain how cancer falls off peoples bodies. how eye that were document blind from birth see. it easy to say its not real untill you see it

i dont believe anyone brought up "science" these are merely methods of healing done with energy transfer. anyone can massage away pain. if the target of the healing is willing and believes it works then it will in their mind and the body follows thru with healing itself. no science. its just the way our bodies Yin and Yang works. without balance everything breaks. we can share energy to those who are unbalanced without taking away from our own health I don't believe in either science or religion

Atheism, to my understanding, is the lack of belief in gods of any kind. Faith is the belief in things without evidence. Seems a contradiction to think that faith is healthy and not practice it yourself. In my mind, faith is only healthy in one way, and that is that it reduces stress because you believe that an invisible man in the sky will help you with your problems. Personally, I'd rather deal with my problems head on than hold my hands together and talk to the sky.

It is childish beliefs in spacemen that propagate continued ignorance of how the world is. also if Jesus and god are so loving, why is it that millions of innocents dies of horrible diseases and suffer? Also if you think you are so well versed in Christ, how did his word get spread after he was crucified? there is a forty year gap between when he died and when his church was started?

the answer to that question. Christ literally translated = "the Anointed One and His Anointing" referring to Holy Spirit. thats is 1 how His word continued in public and private meeting places until there was what we refer to as the 1st church and 2nd The Spirit of God does not relty upon the law of nature thats why it is called a miracle and as far as why millions die horribly, it's simply becaues of sin and the curse, which God provided away out of thru His Son. bottom line, its a choice!

And at times, we hurt ourselves like how parents let their kids play football even though they can get hurt. & the early church had a slow time starting (like any idea or organization) at first with the government being against them & their leader gone. Notice how fast it grew despite the initial stumble.

God does not punish. Why would He punish us for something His Son already suffered for us. Thats saying that the Blood of Jesus was not good enough. God convicts by His Spirit and corrects by His Word. He is not into child abuse. If i drive my car 100mph and crash, the crash is not punishment from God but a result of my actions. Its the same if i never teach my kids about Him and the die a early horrible death. Thats not from God just results of my actions. Jesus suffered all punishment
