well GM trashed their EV-1 claiming there's no market for expensive electric cars
they could have been 10 years ahead in electric car technology
btw TESLA has no problem marketing and selling all the expensive $109,000 cars they make

It think the title is a bit deceiving. I mean what Tesla is getting is not a bailout, it's a loan that has to be payed back to the GOV.

GM gave up the opportunity to lead the way when they trashed their own EV1 vehicles... i have no sympathy for them. But Elon has the right attitude and commitment, if i were rich, i'd voluntarily go poor just so i can give all my money to this cause.

and that's why this company is the death nail for the big 3.
built in america, no grants from the govt means they are not in the back pocket of the oil industry.
think govt = oil & banking
trust me on that one. If you can invest in this company, I'd say rush out and call them now.
