@tekster300 225 is easy ... i would just recommend strength training ... do heavy sets of 5 or less x 3 sets with 3 minutes of break. I was at a max of 275 before i stopped benching
another thing is to fill a backpack up with rocks (upto 50lbs) hug it and swing your torso side to side as fast as you can. cause its all about torso twist.
if you want to be strong, take the weights off and swing the empty rod back and forth as fast as you can while jumping up and down (if you want some cardio workout) this give you FAST TWITCH SPEED which is all that matters. if you turn your triceps into grasshopper legs, you become a killing machine.

do 5 sets of 8,4,2,4,8
so 8 reps first set, 4 next, than 2, than back to 4 than 8 again
