  • Rinse the noodles really good and don't cook them in boiling water for over a minute or they will be like chewing rubber. It will ruin them.

  • i want them yam noodles!! : D

  • Girl you are so cute I love your videos!

  • Where the hell do you get these none calories cause i've gone to sagya, the yam noodles had like 240 cals per serving! i really want them, where can i get them?

  • Very healthy food but just watch for sodium.

  • sorry,your right I need to try more things.

  • lol try new things

  • No problem. I'm just trying to help out, in anyway that I can. Thanks again for making this video. I can't wait to try it. Can this be eaten warm/hot?

  • only 317 calories for this whole meal...not bad, I just can't wait to make this, I just gotta get some more noodles.Ponzu sauce=5 calories

    Shirakiku White & Brown yam noodles=8 calories

    1 Teaspoon of Sesame oil=45 calories (5 fat grams)

    Skinless chicken breast-150 calories( I use frozen skinless chicken breasts)

    Light Soy Sauce=10 calories

    Mirin=40 calories

    Carrot=35 calories

    1 medium Cucumber =24

    Total:317 calories

  • Thanks for the breakdown! Im sure that helps all the viewers out there. Im glad you are going to try it out!

  • it's really 4 calories per package of the shirakiku yam noodles. You're using the shirakiku white yam noodles, & the shirakiku brown yam noodles. so together those packages are all together 8 calories! it has 1/2 a gram of carbs per serving, which is 2 calories per 1/2 carb, there's 2 servings in each package, so that's 1 carb which is 4 calories per carb gram. but still 8 calories, is pretty low for noodles anyway, still good low cal, no fat noodles!make some more videos of the noodles!

  • Looks yummy. ^-^

  • thanks

  • Id love to have you in my kitchen! Coughs*

    Mehh Im just playin around.. Looks nice.. But I doubt I can buy those noodles at the grocery store near my house.. Do I need to go in a like.. Oriental food store or something?

  • yes, I buy mine from the 99 Ranch market which is a chinese market.

  • Oh well I have a korean/japanese store.. Ill go check it out.. They should have some..

  • I had a question...I wanted to make this but I was wondering when I saw you put the noodles in the pot to boil it looked like they were wet already...do you need to pre soak them or anything like that? I want to get it just right!!

  • When you buy them they are prepackaged with liquid and you will have to drain that first before cooking your noodles. Basically they are already cooked, but cooking them will get rid of its fishy smell/taste

  • Your videos rock :] New Subscriber!

  • It looks wonderful but I wish there was a vegetarian version of this recipe!

  • Just dont add the chicken and it will be a vegetarian dish.

  • Yes, I also thought that I could add shitake mushrooms (I am not sure how you call them in the States)instead of the chicken...

  • yam noodles have zero calories? WOW!

  • well, they are really called konjac noodles but I guess the Japanese was translated into English as "yam" but on the package's nutritional facts states that it is 0 calories per serving, which doesn't mean is absolutly 0 calories, its just that the FDA allows food companies to list the amount as "0 grams" if the amount of is less than 0.5 grams per serving. But hey its still really really low calorie!

  • Awesome! Are you possibly Japanese or Korean? o_o

  • I am Chinese but I love eating all kinds of Asian food, so I figured out easy ways to make them.

  • That looks so good. My mom and her friends make spicey cold noodles. lol

    And who wants to eat something spicey when it's hot outside anyways.
