  • Um, I always thought that was Tony Danza singing this song. Not sure why.

  • Memories... I just love the song..

  • THE PHANTOM'S REVENGE

  • no black peoples ? you racists

  • I was like like 5 when this came on in 1990? and Allysa was my age how is she so much older now? I'm 26 she's like 40 wtf? I always had a crush on her too she's hot still.

  • @fuckyouhassa SHUT THE FUCK UP

  • @Useless2112 FUCK YOU

  • @fuckyouhassa You bastard... YOU MAGNIFICENT BASTARD.

  • @fuckyouhassa It premiered in 1984 and ended in 1992.

  • @fuckyouhassa your math seems a bit off.

  • @nrthrnleits I must have been watching reruns and thought we were the same age idk?

  • did u see the supervising producer is named Bud Wiser.

  • @fleshtreat78 'ilarious!!!

  • The Phantom's Revenge brought me here :P

  • This is the best thing that has ever happened in the history of the universe

  • I wonder if this is the Tv show that set the tone for future tv shows such as The Nanny.

  • omq alyssa looks soooooo cute & adorable . .

  • Did you guys know a Tony Danza is a sexual move? Look it up on Urban Dictionary. It's hilarious. "Who's the boss?"

  • I loved this show as a kid, but hated the son in it, i wanted to kill him

  • Thank you Community =)

  • Like this if you came here after watching Community this week

  • Who indeed.

  • Mona's the boss :)) best show ever!!!!!!

  • Is this really from season 1? Wasn't Mona a witch with magical powers in season 1? Or perhaps in the pilot episode?

  • @vmelkon WTF. I don't ever remember that

  • @Alphabex8 I guess I'm thinking of another show.

  • Alyssa Milano has always been hot. how weird. lol at bud wiser

  • Great song...remind me of when I was a tike.

  • LF.

  • What person hires some guy in a beat up old Van to move into their house and be their maid.

    Odd premise for a show

  • @jimmyupthemountain That van just screams "Free Candy."

  • @jimmyupthemountain Angela had no problem hiring Tony because he had once been a pro baseball player whose background was clean. Plus, he did have a daughter, and Angela's mother and son both liked him. Then there was the mutual attraction between the two.

If I recall, the act which really sealed the deal was Tony providing the boy some baseball pointers, which Angela realized that her son needed some type of father figure so he wouldn't become a mama's boy.

  • @GarthanSaal444

Yeh but the kid turned out to be a fag.

  • was?shes still hot as hell!!!

  • I really miss this show.. ):

  • That van just screams Free Candy!

  • @TJL31SJ one of the funny-most comments I've read lately. haha....

  • This is my favorite intro. The singer's voice is sexy, and this version has the most scenes I like in it. Tony wearing a wife-beater and boxing his punching bag, Tony in the shower... Tony and Angela hugging. :)

    ♥ Tony ♥ /drool

I wish this particular video was higher quality, and that the person who posted it hadn't cut it off early. :(

  • I love the past, Fuck the morally bankrupt, terrible future of music and movies with a capitol F. I LIVE PERMANENTLY IN THE PAST BY CHOICE!, WHO'S WITH ME?

  • @redmr2na I live in the present, but I'm FOND of the past... There was an interesting episode of "South Park" on just this subject...

  • This is even better if you watch it backwards! All of the Who's the Boss openings are even better backwards....and it doesn't hurt if you are drunk and stoned too!

  • I never could stand Mona. Who the hell talks to their kid the way she always put down Angela?

  • I ADMIT IT!! GUILTY!!! IM TURNING 24 NEXT MONTH AND WATCHING THIS WHILE IM DRUNK AND STONED MAKES ME CRY!!! I FUCIN LOVED THIS SHOW!! MAMAS FAMILY,ALF,FAMILY MATTERS,CALIFORNIA DREAMS,SAVED BY THE BELL,CALIFORNIA DREAMS,HANGING WITH MR COOPER,ETC!!

  • I bought first season. I grew up watching this when I was young. I can't wait for the rest of the seasons to come out on DVD. It brings back memories for me. =)

  • I knew there was a difference between the lyrics of the early theme song from the other seasons. :D WOOT!

  • Wow... Alyssa Milano was quite a little cutie.

  • @GroverKent You sound like a pedobear.lol

  • @myk3727 Actually, more of a pezoodophile...but that's a whole 'nother discussion for another day.

  • @GroverKent

    And now she's a hottie

  • If you don't like this show, you ain't American.

  • milanorox

  • attn. Major networks I want my sitcoms back. cut reality (unless Occupational AG or something that resolves problems) cut back on the talk forensics & Court shows. yes we we're bombarded by sitcoms galore something I'd never complain about. oh yeah and no more infomercials during early Sat. and do bring with it good Sat. Morning cartoons and bring back the weekday block of them too screw the FCC advertise age neutral stuff and balance out the toy ad's and shit

  • @odog65 YES!!!

  • @odog65 yea, i miss sitcoms too.

  • This was from the 1985-86 season

  • Why did they make shows about man babysitters in the 80's ? So unrealistic. No guy works as a nanny, that's always been a female job. Besides Who's The Boss, there was Charles In Charge - guy who cared for a family's children, and Mr Belvedere, an older British butler and nanny combination.

  • @AmericanEvita I say it all started and was inspiried by Mr. Mom they just changed the role/occupation for the main male character. it's amazing how many classics they drew up from that and using different formulas when it came to the creativity of those shows. same with Full House and 2 of a kind being they had to assume the mother role too

  • come on in boy you have a cigar thats just fantastic is what eye think by the way which onespink

  • This whole show was just flirting.

    <.< And we loved it.

  • great show. one of my favorites, along with 'growing pains' and 'family ties.'

  • goddamn I cannot believe how young Alyssa Milano is, and now she is one of the greatest actresses of all time

  • this cant be season 1. the kids were credited together for a while

  • I always knew Sam (Alyssa Milano) would grow up to be such a beautiful woman.

  • @Danny123456789009876

    Kinda scary comment dude...

  • Now if the 2000's plus had TV like THIS, i wouldn't complain all the damn time! LMFAO! LOL TV now days is about that reality shit, boring, Bring back the 80's TV Shows, Please!! Once upon a time, like, back then, Hollywood put out some great TV shows, but Now?? HELL NO! LOL I can't say the same for now. I can only count about 3 or 4 shows of now, compared to 50+ back then!! WTF's up with TV now days?!?!

  • @001GenLee agree!

  • @001GenLee I know and isn't reality supposted to be something we live instead of watch. I ate a tripe taco with Panela and an anchovi feta salad and I don't see Joe Rogan paying me $30K. The only useful ones I've ever seen are the ones having to do with occupations. eating bugs for $? a real family?. who cares

only famililes I want to see on my TV are the ones dreamed up by writers not some kate + 8 bullshit and anything else they could think of besides reality

  • alyssa milano ♥♥♥

  • the beste sitcom !

  • i actually came here cause the scene on family guy where stewies in hell with steve allen then later in the episode steve allen is watching tv in hell and it plays an audio clip from this opening, took me forever to remember what show it was from, finally found it....ok im done.

  • Tony drives a creepy van...

  • This is in my top three favorite sitcom theme songs. Love it!

  • Actually, this is the opening credits for Season 2 of "Who's the Boss?". The reason being is because in the opening credits of Season 1, Alyssa Milano and Danny Pintuaro's name appears at the same time at 0:32 instead of separately.

  • I love this show

  • this is from like the 80's and early 90's who cares anymore?? Thats right know one.

  • yeah right. my ass.

  • Had Katherine Helmond not been such a domineering, overbearing grandmother, Danny Pintauro would not likely have turned out to be a homosexual.

  • hey look the producer is Bud Wiser! lol

  • hahaha

  • @AwWDesignZ So that is a real name! There was a guy by that name credited with producing "One Day at a Time" and I always thought is was a pseudonym. Kinda suprising because "One Day" was a much more dramatically oriented sitcom.

  • @AwWDesignZ lmfao, I never noticed that.

  • @AwWDesignZ : ha ha ha ha........

  • @AwWDesignZ that's about level of taste from the general who's the boss fan back then

  • @illuminatioracle wow ur a real jerk i guess...it was a good clean show!

  • and he can sing :D

  • Am I The Only One

    Who Thought Tony Danza

    Was Such A Hottie

    Well He Is Omg

  • lol my sister thought so to lol

  • alyssa she... hehehe i`m sorry hehe

  • Alyssa Milanos first show? omg I have to see that once!! :D

  • Thanks a lot for sharing!

I just love this great theme song.

Too bad I don't completely understand the

whole lyrics.(English is not my native

    language.)

Who could kindly type the lyrics, please?

I'd really love to get it!

    Thanks a lot!

  • That was one of my fave shows when I was a kid and it still is now. I love it. I used to think it would be great to be Sam.

  • Happy bleated birthday to Actress Alyssa Milano. She's such A Beautiful Italian American Woman!

  • There's a time for love and a time for living. You take a chance and face the wind. An open road and a road that's hidden A brand new life around the bend. There were times when I lost a dream or two. Found the trail, and at the end was you. There's a path you take and a path untaken The choice is up to you my friend. Nights are long but you're on your way To a brand new life, Brand new life, Brand new life around the bend.
  • Tony Danza and Bob Saget are a bunch of butt-kisser hippies

  • I read that Tony Danza sang this version of the song, not bad, but I still wouldn't buy any of his albums.

  • mmmmmmmmmmmmm....tony....

  • I like that one

  • so at .38 seconds a mans name comes up as supervising producer....his name... BUD WISER.. thts awsome.

  • ...and Judith Light's brother, Miller Light, joined on as a second supervising producer soon after. Sorry, couldn't resist.

  • mmmmmmm...Alyssa...
