  • Transition is very expensive. Most transgenders do spend all of their money on it.

  • Great video. Woohoo, glad I am in the tech path. I have to testify to the job market. I have applied to positions that you would think not desirable and little competition, the company policies make up for it and not much luck. It has been 4 months now and no vacancies even though I fit the position like a glove. It has thrown a wrench in my plans. Luckily I am still in a good spot, but still requires much discretion.

    Thanks again,

    CP

  • Smart and sexy

  • I think it's quite easy to do since transition really involves a series of steps you need to accomplish. Excellent blog, keep up the good work.

Also, it's great to see Grishno, Icecoldbath, Gothique and others who also have great vlogs commenting on your vlog :)

  • Charlotte, nice video...again. You hit on a key point and you are right, many people overlook the point that transition is not the end goal, living a omplete life and feeling comfortable in your skin WHILE pursuing those things in life that you normally would (career, hobbies, relationships, intimacy, etc) is the end goal. We see so many examples of woman and men transitioning and then feeling kind of empty after transition because the never set goals for themselves other than transitioning.

  • I totally agree! At this point I am too focused myself. I hope that will change.

  • HAHA! MUAH!

  • Woah...what's with the crazy laughing!

  • Another great video girl and i have been thinking about all that stuff and its scary and exciting but thank u for posting i really like the way talk about the future and being up front with it..

  • Well, I know I get so caught up in the now and how hormoness are changing me and lose sight of the big picture. It's so easy to do just that.

  • Very good blog. It is all of these types of issues that I am having the hardest time figuring out.

  • It is quite the puzzle, yet the more you focus on doing one thing and then another, it becomes easier.

  • Hey Charlotte ;). Nice vlog. I try to look at my transition as a 'hobby' kind of. I do it on the side of my actual life. Of course it is a lot more serious then knitting, but for the reasons you mention, a gender doesn't matter if it isn't attached to a life.

P.S. You need to make a video for the trans awareness project!!! ;-D

  • This is one of the best comments to date. The fact that you managed to in any way connect transition and knitting is so neat! As far as the project video, I will record one soon! I recorded a few and I just looked like some crazed robot or something.

  • Another marvelous entry. As a film maker I enjoyed the dark and moody lighting of your last one, but your advice to your fellow transgendered soldiers in arms is very thoughtful, inspired and, I'm sure, helpful. You rock.

  • Thank you so much for the comment. I am clueless when it comes to lighting and just kind of wing it. Hopefully someone gets something out of it!
