  • Great song

  • boy this guy can sing high man!

  • I totally agree!!!

  • Timeless !!!!

  • To this day, Mickey does not look or sound one day older!

  • Amazing song!Great performance!And I like the girl.What a smile she has!Just an adorable woman!!

  • one of my fave Starships Videos

  • Great song! What power in that vocal!

  • The best Starship's song

  • @proeyebry - thank you recommending me the song "Drifter" - so beautiful and healing. Craig is so natural, nothing flashy. You can feel emotion and depth in every note he plays. I have one of his albums "Acoustic Highway".

  • I love the look the girl gives the longhaired guy as she walks by...always remembered that years later, for some reason.

  • 22 years later I got to know this song...I remember We Built This City, Sara and Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now when I was younger...but It's Not Enough is an amazing song.

I love the guitar solo and riff!

  • muy bueno.

  • one of my faves by Starship! Craig chaquico is great!

  • GUAUUUU !! que tal remember,....!!

que buen sonido el de STARSHIP !

  • Great Video Production

    Great Song

    The Drummer Rocks!

  • Can anybody help me? Mickey Thomas sang this song in 88 or 89. I think the title of the song is sing or what. I think it was from a soundtrack of a movie.

  • @Supersweetguy late summer 1989 - I recall because I was on my way back for my second year of college.

  • @stevenmcintosh Thank you.

  • what a laser classic, mickey is the bees knees

  • WOW!! i never knew any promo work/ touring was done for this album after the incident that happened.

  • Starship hit #12 in Billboard, 10-7-89. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx! Have a great weekend!

  • How this wasn't a big hit, and the wretched We Built This City was, is one of life's greatest mysteries.

  • @lurch321 I have to agree this tune SHOULD have been a big hit for them. It is one of faves from them and remember when it came out I recorded it on cassette lol and played it over & over in my car!

  • @lurch321 We Build This City is from 85 and It's Not Enough is from 89 - thats why... but of course this should be one of the greatest hits in music history.

  • I agree with you guys. I love this song too

  • We must all thank Marty Balin and Paul Kantner for getting this group up and running back in the summer of 1965. All members added so so much over the years and it remains till today, one of the greatest psychedelic bands of all time.

  • Watching the rain while i'm travelling , this song fits perfect to that moment ... love it , really relaxing <3

  • muy bueno.

  • Grace should have stuck around and made another 20 million

  • awesome song good lyrics beautiful voice

  • One of the best songs ever made, can't believe it only got to no 87 in the UK, a total travesty.

  • I didn't know there was a video for this!

  • te ama la cruz leonel

  • I've been hoping someone would post the complete video for this. I know Good Heart was released after this one but this is really the last song many remember Starship for before they fell into obscurity. Really a shame Grace Slick feels such animosity towards Mickey and now says how horrible We Built this City was. And one still has to wonder what caused Mickey and long time drummer Donny Baldwin to come to blows soon after this album.

  • @John32070 I couldn't agree more. When this album came out, I was really psyched, then no sooner did the album come out, starship vanished. Starship peaked with this album. In my opinion it's what they waited for all these years. The sound was right on target. I coudlnt' have been happier. When I realized grace slick wans't on the album, I was bummed, but then realized, Mickey didn't need her. His voice was right up there with Steve Perry's of Journey. Shame those two never did a duet.

  • Adult Oriented Rock

  • one of the most underrated and criticised retro bands...

    excellent song....pure nostalgia

  • Starship sold over 100 million albums worldwide, they toured all over the world, they began as Jefferson Airplane and later became Jefferson Starship and in the end they became known as Starship, they are real music artists that sang real music, this is one of the greatest songs in music history, this is real music, this song was a big top 40 hit on the Billboard chart s here in the United States that become an even bigger top 10 hit worldwide, they are great music artists, this is a great song

  • Thank you so much for posting this. Starship is one of my all time favorite bands from the 80's, and I would prefer listening to these guys , than all that manufactured crap you hear today. The bands in the 80's were true musical artists, who wrote their songs and actually played their instruments, unlike the so called 'artists' of today, with all their soulless and meaningless songs. Degrading women and singing, well.......crap!! God, I miss the 80's!!

  • Great song! One of my all time favorites. The 80's never prove me wrong.

  • 1989 i need to talk anything more? God blessed this year in music , whos want to be with me in a hot tube time machine..lol

  • I like damn a lot this song.so my darling just listen "It's not enough to tell me you love" you must show me..xD. Grettings from Perú

  • YIPPEE! Haven't seen this video in years. Thanks for sharing. Do you have more to post? Like the song says, "It's Not Enough".

  • SUPER DANDY AOR!!!

ONE OF MY FAV ALL THE TIMES!!! ;D

  • Craig Chaquico is a very underrated guitarist.

  • @leeseaman1 His song Drifter is awesome check it out.

  • starship uno de los mejores grupos ochenteros, this song i love it

  • Oh yes!!!! Love it!!!!

  • awesome song. they dont make them like this anymore. cant help but think the drummer looks like keith lemon

  • Thanks so much for posting this video. I've looked everywhere for it! Mickey is the best!

  • OMGosh! Totally forgot about this one!

Adored singing this with "the Cheeter's" {Madison, WI} back in '90 when I joined as the new female lead singer!

Even a girl needs to have a good range to pull off what Mickey does...a true vocal god in the likes of Freddie Mercury; total natural talent.

The best part? to this day, 2011, Mickey can still hit all these notes!

    Love him!!

  • Such an underrated album by Starship. Great song and unbelievable chorus, love it!
