i wanted to like this movie but it was just soo unrealistic. The landlord doesnt ger her rent..so instead of being pissed or even concerned for all the kids squatting in her apartment, she just walks away. NO BIGGIE. And how did the kids live off of so little food for so long? where did they crap? No running water! I don't get it!

Well in the real story it took months for the landlord to find out they were all alone. So it isn't so unrealistic after all.

This film is a fictionalized story based on a TRUE story in the 1980s in Japan. Search for "Affair of the four abandoned children of Sugamo" on wikipedia. In fact, the real incident was much more grisly and took far longer. You can check out "Nobody Knows" on wikipedia as well and you'll realized that this film is very mild compared to what really happened.

I guess I was too exited when I posted the video that I didn't think before saying it was the opening theme not the ending. But I knew that because I'm a huge fan of Naruto. About the title I really thought it was called Don't Cry, it appeared like that in many places,sry about that one, but I never mention it was by nobody knows, so your wrong in that.

Yuki dies and Akira+ Saki [the girl who befriends them] go to bury her. Very touching scene because they buy the chocolates Yuki loved and place it along with a bear in a suitcase, which is how she is buried of course. The end of the movie is open-ended, but we assume they go back to...just living.

In real life, the kids were found out. Read wikipedia details there.
