This is the original song writed By Juan Jiménez "guayaspa" in 1951..... check the colombian folklore and and the instrument its called acordeon in colombia or harmonic in some places of europe....
The same thing is happening w/ Middle Eastern music from that time period. There has been an increase in American rappers who sample Arabic songs, not only because it can be really cool, but also because there were no copyright laws at the time the music was made, so they don't have to pay royalties. I'm sure there is some similar situation with this song. At the same time, I probably wouldn't have known about this song if Samim had not sampled it. I guess it's both ambassador and thief.
