  • @cmcjoshua the itching went away in 2 days:)

  • HEY, THIS DOESN'T WORK if you're itching for real! Plus it kills your skin cells! TRY >>Carmex Healing Cream!!!<< I tried it and I'm cured! Good luck to everyone itching! I hated it and I have scars from scratching so much, but I got this stuff and I can't believe I am better. All of the scratch marks and scabs and stuff are disappearing and fast! I hope this helps everyone!

  • i just got to work so i have to wait 9 hours to try this-.-

  • @armandoglz23 This didn't work for me, I've been itching for a year now and I went yesterday and got Carmex Healing Cream. Carmex makes incredible lip balm. I can't believe I'm better. If the blow dryer didn't work for you, try the cream. Lotions clog pores and make the itching ultimately worse, unless you just have a dry skin issue.

  • This will only help culture the bacteria that can be causing your itch

  • did you punch yourself in face at 0:18? :L or press 7 :L

  • I've used the hot air dryer for years to completely stop itching of all sorts, from burn HEALING to bug bites! YOU MUST cause all the ITCH RECEPTORS to FIRE, or itch intensely, to be EFFECTIVE! Once an itch receptor fires by itching intensely, (it takes it time to recharge, hours), you've succeeded. If you only partially discharge, it will continue itching! You hold the hot air 6-8 inches away in the same spot waving back and forth until you feel the intense itching, just short of burning pain!

  • @1980january1

I have to hold my hair dryer about 6-8 inches away, waving it quickly back and forth, to prevent burning the very tender areas of raw flesh, but once the itch receptor FIRES (itches very intensely, very close to the burn threshold) you go to the next area nearby that itches! You MUST cover EVERY ITCH RECEPTOR with high heat close to burning pain to make it ITCH INTENSELY which basically burns out the itch for a long while, hours!

  • @1980january1

Ok, I have reassessed and 3-4 inches is how close I get with my dryer & I move it away when it just begins to burn, which is also when it becomes the most itchy or intense! This is so effective at stopping itching. You CAN do the same thing with a washcloth, damp, heated in a microwave, being careful not to burn yourself from the steam! Press the heat into the itchy spot making it itch intensely. When you no longer can get an itchy response, you have succeeded! Dryer is easier!

  • it makes it itchyer

  • @jjjjjager98 If your comment is for real then you didn't follow the instructions. I am only responding because itching sucks and I don't want you to suffer. With the hairdryer as hot as it will go, and as close to your skin as possible, the itching will transition from your normal itching, to more intense itching, to PAIN after about 5 SECONDS. Try again...

  • @jjjjjager98 I agree! Plus, that kills your skin cells! Try Carmex Healing Cream! Carmex makes lip balm. I found out yesterday that they make it and I went and got some and I can't believe the difference! Good Luck!

  • Would you believe I found this because I was already doing it and wondered if I was the only one or if I wasn't doing something horrible to myself.

  • OMG im a chocolate junkie but Im alergic to 50% of it so Im itchy all over!

Sometimes I wonder why Im not fat :))

  • You sure it's safe on all areas? Cuz I don't feel like catching my scalp on fire. X3

  • I recently had an allergic reaction to some antibiotics I was taking. The first day I was miserable with a high fever, headache, body aches, dizziness, etc. The second day (today) I feel almost normal except I'm red from head to toe and I'm slowly getting more an more itchy. I would trade today for yesterday in a heartbeat, but this helps! I was going crazy!

  • Hey, it worked!

  • what if heat is the source of the itch?

  • This worked for me too on some poison ivy I had! Ahhhhhhhh.... the relief!!!! Thanks to whoever posted this!

  • thank you SO much! i haven't seen this solution posted anywhere else. i have a rash on my calves and foot that is itching so much i went to the doctor to try to get it to stop. they recommended steroids which did nothing. i tried the hair dryer method and thus far it has been the most effective solution. i was about to email my doc that i didn't know how much longer i could stand the itching without ripping my skin. if killing the enzyme is actually what happens, it should be permanent!

  • Or we can scratch it

  • are you sure this will work? garanteed?

  • I don't have a hair dryer.

  • Totally works! I discovered this by accident when taking a shower once. I have a skin reaction (yet unnamed) that is triggered normally by sun or heat. Anyway, when I scratch it seems more little eruptions appear. Instead, the heat from the hot water (it was on hot by accident), caused an instant of pain that felt as if the itching had reached a new awful level, but when I removed myself from the hot scalding water the itched had stopped. I do this ever since. It also works for steye.

  • you can blow dry your vagina if it itches? really?if your vagina is itching you probablly have a infection...or am I wrong?

  • not good for my infection

  • hot water works too, but only for a short time (10 minutes).. use benadryl to help relive itching.

  • Im still itchy all over! That didnt work for me.

  • @exxtreem23 If you still itch then you didn't do it right. DO IT AGAIN on HIGH and wait until you must say OUCH! You can not have itch and pain at the same time. The pain metabolizes the itch enzyme.

  • @inventorr77 Then why not just give yourself pain a different way. lmao

  • @exxtreem23 I had the same problem. I can't believe I finally found something that works for me and I want everyone to know because I have heard it all and tried all of the moisturizers! They don't work!!! >Try Carmex Healing Cream.< Carmex makes lip balm. I'm cured. I hope this helps! :D

  • ouch:)

thanks! it worked! although quite temporarily... but at least it helped me contain myself from scratching

  • I don't want to put a hair dryer that close to my balls :'(

  • Aouch !! How to spell the right Ouch, auch, och aaoouucchh !!??

  • @VampirateBloodR8 - So you want to know how to spell ouch? OUCH! I hope you are glad to get rid of your itching? You never told me, but I already know that a one-second of "ouch" is better than hours of itching. Enjoy!

  • hahaha thats funny the dude up there is all like way to go asswhole i burnt my testicles hahaha... (balls)

  • ur not a girl

  • okay wat if its ur bum hole sorry i know its rude but would it work

  • deeo voice for a girl!!

  • is it normal if i make giraff sounds while doing this??

  • cuz thats so much more convenient than scratching it..?

  • @brynjoy it's for uses like poison ivy where if you scratch it it spreads

  • Wow. A hairy female. (thats of course if she is one.)

  • haha thats not a woman.

  • u have a deep voice 4 girl

  • homeopathy doesn't work period.

  • why's there some random picture of a girl in the background

  • ur a girl?? yeah thats like telling me to go get a drivers license from stevie wonder!!!

  • my anus is itching! i dont think its a good idea

  • SHIIT THIS WORKS! THANKS haha

  • You're actually exhausting the histamines in the cells that are reacting to some stimulant not enzymes. Histamines are part of the Amine group of molecules.

  • i think it worked for now.. thankyou so much

  • yeah it works... once you feel it burn, it kills the itching!

  • WAy to go asshole I burnt my testicles

  • I am a girl. Please be respectful with your comments OK? Maybe you did it wrong...

  • I'm sorry I was just mad.. I had the wrap up my testicles to go to school cause I burnt them.... Have you ever burnt your vagina?

  • you got some hairy arms for a chick then.

  • @jjjblu HA HA... nobody ever noticed that before.

  • @inventorr77 Yes. Be respectful only because she is a girl.

  • @inventorr77 Like the video but...what? Be respectful because your a girl? That doesn't really make any sense.

Is it ok to disrespect guys? Are girls just naturally born with respect?

And finally, It's youtube. No such thing as respect.

  • @videosfromderelix true true

  • @awsomeman192

Hey, its not her fault.. Hairdryers vary, yuh know? .. One can be average-hot, while another set on the same temp, can be super-hot.. or maybe you held it too close.. need someone to lick it cool? *wink*

  • @awsomeman192 you probably have herpes.....this method works though!! I have been using it for years now, although I normally use scalding hot water.

  • Too bad it's a tad too painful to do it on your crotch... go firgure, the one day I need to pee out of the stand is the day I unknowingly get poison ivy all over me...

  • Have you tried it? Believe me, a second of pain is better than a week of itching... especially down there!

  • OMG Thank You so much I have dry skin and this winter wind really doeas a toll on my skin. I get extremely itchy when I get dry.

  • It works, thanks!

I've had really bad itching all day and it worked on the areas.

  • How to stop itching fast: Heat from a hot hair dryer (set on high) used as close to the skin as possible can stop severe itching anywhere on the body: your head, scalp, arms, legs, fingers, crotch, butt, toes, athletes foot, jock itch, feet, nipples, vagina, anal area, anus, etc.

  • Thankyou so much dude :D

I play soccer and I get TERRIBLE rashes from my chinguards, and just now I tried that and it helped make almost all of the itching go away! yay! hheehehheeheh

  • Almost all of the itching? It should make it ALL go away. Maybe you need to have the hairdryer hotter or a little closer to the skin? Remember, you must feel an "ouch" sensation for it to work. Glad you liked it.

  • Comment removed

  • alllllllllllllllllllllll areas?

  • My guess is that it messes with the enzymes via histamine? Does anyone think this could be the case?

  • Read the video description -

The pain ends the itch, because the enzymes are destroyed by the high heat of the hot hair dryer. Itching is caused by enzyme activity at the cellular level of the body. The enzymes that cause us itching, and discomfort can be neutralized with enough HEAT to generate one second of pain.

  • thanks man oh btw this also mworks with baths and andthing that cuases heat, yeah i have itching in my foot due to it being inflamed and irriteded thanks for the help i'm running myself a bath now one agian thanks.

  • lol as soon as i saw this my hand started to itch and my eye and my leg haha

  • i just saw this video...i´ll try it and i´ll let u know if it worked for me...i´m kinda curious!!

  • I dont know how to control how popular a video gets. I thought itching would be a big problem for people and this would be a fantastic solution.

  • and how is this video not popular? helped me

  • i have been doing this for years. I have the craziest type of eczema whereby i have itching on the knuckles/hands i would start washing my hands in hot water and when the water gets super hot say about 76 degrees Celsius the itch just goes away. Like a light switch i.e. on/off

  • thank you soooo much!!

  • this is my, like, fifteenth

  • what if u have mosquito bites?

  • Works GREAT on mosquito bites.

  • YAYAYAY i have a total of 46 on my legs XD this will work wonders thanks!!

  • After you try it let us know... remember each little itch should turn to a momentary ouch and your done!

  • lol it worked quite well. the insane itch crave went and didnt come back yay =D

  • The heat neutralizes the enzymes and histamines which cause the itch. I don't know why doctors don't explain this.

  • because the doc wants u to spend money for his info which causes a loop. u end up going to him 5 times for no reason.

  • Do it and then come back here and tell us what happened. I already know the itching will be gone! Remember to let the itch turn to pain for a few seconds and then like magic.... NO ITCH!

  • omfg thanks so much, always itching lol :P

  • People should always check with their doctors with something as annoying as itching. I think this video is just to show people a quick solution for localized itching. I have used it myself and it really does work.

  • how about if you have skn allergies?

  • thanx but what happen if your whole body itch

  • it still hurts

  • What hurts?

  • man i got posion ivy on my balls and i did it but using hot water.. it feels so much better

  • not good if u have eczema cus it will dry the skin.....

  • thx man ,
