i can't even begin to fathom how anybody could so easily abandon their own children or even think of torturing/attempting to kill them. why do they mindlessly believe that their children are witches? it's so painfully obvious that their self proclaimed prophets only say this to get money. this is honestly a very, very, sad world we live in.
I agree michaboa, maybe not exactly the same, but wickedness is worldwide, even in the great U.S of A and even amongst those who are well-educated. I did read a news report about this not too long ago, however. Nice to see Teco Benson and Grace Amah are back.
Poor African people, it is so easy to manipulate with them and make them believe any kind of superstitions. I hope one day they get better education so they cannot be fooled anymore. I hope they all get into reason age and realize that there are no such things as witches, gods, possessions, but only slaveholders who want they money, want to control them and use them. Wake up Africa!
@arguss77 i also hope most wetserners educate themselves about africa, instead of basing their assessment of it, by a film. no doubt these things exist in some parts of africa but you would be incredibly naive to think it doesnt exist in europe or the rest of the world for that matter. you say wake up africa, i say wake up world
@michaboa I agree with you that such things exist world wide and also agree that world (thanks for correcting me) needs to wake up from all kinds of superstitions and religions and we all get along. Africa, no doubt is a cradle of humans (evolution proves it nicely) and we should all together try to save it (nature, culture to remember and allow people there prosper and have better life. I also support cause to end any kind of slavery there and everywhere.
