thanks for the clarification! We do BLW but I didn't learn about it until we had done purees for a few weeks so by them LO was willing to pick up anything once so we didn't have cute/funny video opportunities like this one :-)
However I thought that baby led weaning meant putting the food in the tray and let baby decide to pick it up and eat it. Nothing that I read mentioned trying to shove the food in their mouth specially when baby is letting you know that he/she doesn't want it.
@thePagan411 You are correct... BLW does encourage the exploration of food on their own, however, our Family Doctor pointed out the need to introduce one food type every 4 days starting with veggies to watch for food allergies. The smorgasbord aspect to BLW would have to come later if we follow our GP's advice, and we need to make sure he eats at least a small bit of what we introduce.
BLW certainly looks easier than it actually is that's for sure!
