Would've been fabulous if Cab had done a version of this, but this is not him! I repeat: this is NOT Cab Calloway! This sounds a heck of a lot like Louis Jordan, and I'd be willing to bet money that it is, but if so, it's a re-record, most likely from the late 50's or 60's, because it's not the original recording from 1943!

It really is hard to say whether this is Cab Or Louis, one of the reason why it is so hard to say is that this video is rather high quality, I too get confused when I hear Louis Jordan on a record and on a CD. My guess is that it is Jordan, it just sounds more like him to me. Anyway thanks for uploading this high quality piece of golden classic masterpiece epicness he he.
