Very nice video on knife edge spin. One thing to keep in mind as well is that each plane will fly differently so this is more of a guideline than and exact how-to for your specific model. My 47" 3dhs edge 540 doesn't need any rudder input to stay in a knife edge spin. Also, I am going to agree with sideshowbill that aerobatics and 3d flying are not easy to master but I don't think it has to take a year to get into it. Studying tutorials and practice can trim the time down a lot.
Get a trainer and spend lots of time on the simulator then work your way into aerobatics and 3d. Its not as easy as you think. I been doing it a year and just now stepping into aerobatics on the sim.

wow, ive bought like 3 of those planes, and every time within a month they are broken beyond repair. how do oyu do that?
