I just wish he would have stayed with pink floyd. The band is huge. On his own he can't make as big of an impact as he could if wrote these words for pink floyd.

well so what? Roger was Pink Floyd.. the band still goes on with him. He wrote almost everything .. I've been at his gigs and have dvds from his stuff and to be honest the quality of music is higher than it was with pink floyd.. it's all just nostalgia that people want them back together but if truth be told roger outgrew the rest of the band

I agree with Nicholas Shaffner in his book; this and "Folded Flags" are so much better, more powerful, than Pros and Cons, and much of Radio KAOS, for that matter. Roger's decisions in the studio as a solo artist have been indeed questionable. Then again, he's in great company: Dylan has been struggling with studio decisions since the 70s.
