This is great. Thanks for posting. And I agree with detrimalv about pausing between 'go rounds'. But as it is, it is very enjoyable and startling, indeed.
@ApollonianKing shuttup hippy this is way cooler than some african kid who wouldnt give a fuck about me waiting 4 minutes longer for my kebab on a friday night after a pissup :P lol nah im not that cold hearted but cmon it is kool!
@ApollonianKing So could the money spent on bankers bonuses, Trident, and numerous wars that we keep starting in the quest for oil. Why do you specifically hate art?

Yawn.
It's kind of an unaesthetic hole in the wall, isn't it, posing no questions while daring to do no more than turn, turn, turn. Oh you dangerous artiste, you.
If you want to do something truly challenging and groundbreaking, collect all the poseurs here praising this wan little hole for a private showing and rig the building to fall on them.
i love this but it would be even better if it paused for a maybe 10 or 15 seconds when it fits back in so that when it starts up again it might surprise someone just walking by
This is a great piece of 'modern art' - Its on a normal street in Liverpool so the audience is huge - not hidden away in an art gallery. And it works - I have seen hundreds/thousands of people enjoying it, discussing it, arguing about it and taken part in some of these myself. Forget the empty concept of 'meaning' - its easy to write deep rubbish about art, come and see it - it works...
This is excellent, but I'm starting to hate that word "intervention" due to overuse. Someone has a post-modern (ugh!) idea for making a change, to something made by someone else at a different time, and they always call it an "intervention".
Quite funny if you imagine the other Richard Wilson shouting "I don't believe it!" as it happens.

The money spent on this could feed and medicate people that are dying.

I sometimes think that even if they are just pulling everyone's leg, it gets people discussing such things, which is good

I can't agree. This is brilliant in it's conception, very clever in the impementation and according to the information banner; it runs 12 hours a day.
Only in England could something as good as this be so poorly presented. Perhaps that's the idea, let it speak for it's self!
Does anyone know if Richard Wilson has produced anything else or if he has something in the making?
