  • The Fugitive was based on a true story.A doctor named Richard Kimble was said to have slain his wife. But sfter 30 years Kimble's son claimed his father was wrongly convicted and imprisoned. His attorney,Terry Gilbert, introduced as evidence blood samples that recently underwent DNA testing. The blood was discovered to be that of someone other than Kimblle's.So,finally the defense lawyer cited DNA as evidence to prove that the accused was innocent...But DNA testing is not 100% .

  • some one pointed out that William Conrad who so adeptly narrarted this great show was also the voice who narrated the Old Rocky and bullinkle series

  • The Fugitive was required viewing as were the other two Quinn-Martin productions, The Invaders and Run for your Life. The intros to these shows really set the tone in ways current intros don't. And the music, of course, was so great. After the first 30 seconds, you didn't want to be anywhere else, even if a particular episode wasn't so great.

  • Wow! This is where everything started! The movie Ford Harrison made called "the fugitive" is from this series. Sean originales por favor!

  • One of the best shows in television history then and now!

  • One arm eh? He was armless .........

  • This show is great. You can see how it influenced later shows such as The Incredible Hulk and First Wave, maybe even Kung Fu to a certain extent.

  • Another town, another place. Same old jacket, same briefcase. Wonderful.

  • @MisterValance Yup,he wore that jacket up all those years on the run.

  • my favorite show of all time...never get tired of this...

  • This was speeded up so it could stay on youtube

  • Back when I was a TV-watching teen in the 1980s, I was hooked on old black and white tv shows. The Fugitive was awesome. Watched it religiously as reruns were played on one of my local PBS stations.

  • One of the best dramatic TV series to come out of the 1960's. It had the distinction of being the first TV show that had a finale in which the conflict was resolved. Very well written series with a lot of guest stars who went on to become movie stars or stars of their own TV shows.

  • WHAT A GREAT VOICE BY WILLIAM CONRAD

  • very good tv show it was made years before i was born but, i watched reruns of it on tv and its just amazing the writing was just a+ class.

  • loved it years ago.... cant remember though (being old) how he ended up in last episode... great priceless vid.. 5*****

  • you can get the complete series on dvd now .

  • @thehotash1 really where???.

  • @myleftnutts amazon has the complete series

  • There are Tv shows and there are Tv shows. This is quite possibly the best one ever.

  • R.I.P. Vera Miles - Millie.

  • Anybody who was in OI Division USS Oriskany (CVA 34) 67-71 remember "Doc" Kimble ? He was in O'Hare airport, tryin to get connecting flight to MADtown WI, runnin down the concourse with his seabag over his shoulder, and over the loudspeaker he hears "Kimble can stop running now, they caught the one-armed man !" Everybody cheers. In Madison WI though, I was called "baby-killer". Things never change in Madison.Google Mark Kimble Protest. I hiked 333 mi on AT for Pro Life last summer at 63.*+*+*+*

  • William Conrad ¡What a voice! ¡What a intro!

  • @ronykpe01 Wow! This series was amazing!!!

(I would watch it with my mother.)

  • @ronykpe01 Did you also know that William Conrad was the voice-over narrator for the Rocky and Bullwinkle Show? Just an FYI

  • @TheGigmiester101 He was also Matt Dillon on the the Gun smoke radio show.

  • The Fugitive the Fourth and final season Vol 2 to be released 2/15/11 if the date doesn't changed.

  • What's the name of the episode where Dr. Kimble's at the home of a rich family, and the daughter's in love with one of the servants, and there's a party going on at the house?

  • Thanks for posting. I was too young for the series,(b.'64). Did'nt know he was on the train, instead of bus.

  • Best series in television history; never missed an episode. Thanks for posting. Oh, the memories.

  • David Janssen was a great actor, dearly loved by his audience while doing this series. He was gone too soon. Miss him still.

  • I love this show. I think the reason I love it so much is because unlike so many other shows it actually has a conclusion.

  • One of the five best shows since the creation of television!

  • @hbailen Never thought of it that way, but in the crime genre at least, it would have to be in the Top 10, and yes, even in the upper 5 of such a list. BTW, the narration for the theme was done by William Conrad of Canon/Jake And The Fatman fame.

  • It was my dad's favourite TV series in the 60s and rightly so. Brilliant writing and superb acting.

  • What a fantastic pair of actors they were. A great voice over too from William Conrad. The most gripping TV series ever!

  • This show was terrific, I never missed an episode! TV was great back then!!

  • Harry Reid looks like that frog in the into part

  • "But in that darkness, fate moves it's huge hand..."

    Very good!

  • @LMNO837 Ahem... its huge hand.

  • "But in that darkness, fate moves it's huge hand..."

    Brilliant writing!

  • Bill Bixby's THE INCREDIBLE HULK tv series and the 2008 film starring Edward Norton owe a lot to the FUGITIVE.

  • From Jensen, Nebraska. Was a great show and later a great movie.

  • "I guess Youtube has got you suckers. It's like listening to a bunch of Drug-Adicts, as Youtube and all the rest of Google mess up this internet with 4% of their archives as they try to dominate, with all the rest of these free loader. They have nothing that they have produced. Nithing but interference into everybodies freedom on the internet. But you can bnet your life GOOGLE You'll pay dearly for it all in the end."

  • @Grifiki

    And your point is......?

  • It was mandatory in my house to watch this. Tuesday night, channel 7 at 10:00 pm.

No one could say a work while it was on.

  • I remember this well, my whole family watched it...we would be glued to the tv set.

  • This show was one of the all time classics, good use of the opening from the first season, bud, me like.

  • I love to think of William Conrad ordering waffles, or coffee, and hold the cream, in that awesome, over the top voice.

  • Richard Kimble is innocent..so he has to run..at some time..everybody runs...

  • So did someone with one arm kill Caylee? I don't think so... Come on Bozo...We all know who killed Caylee...The public is not as stupid as you all think...

  • He He V ! :)
