It's definitly ripping of from babe which was released the same time,babe had a bigger budget so the animal talking was much more convincing, plus the story and acting was so so much better! this movie was lame.
I used to always watch this movie when I was little, and for a low-budget movie that not many people seemed to know about or watch, I thought it was awesome. Also, I went to Branson, Missouri a few years ago and didn't realize that that's where this movie was based until I watched it again for the first time in years a few days ago on Netflix. haha. I thought that was pretty cool. :p Anyways, love this movie. It's cute. I also have a pet pig so it's very appropriate. :]

He recently reviewed Gordy. Absolutely hilarious. It's on YouTube, or you can Google "Nostalgia Critic," and look it up on his web site.
i love the song at the end on credits its called i made a promise thats all i know i have been looking for it and would love to know who sings it so i could down load it .
@patrickdron It's underrated because it sucked ass! It was so slow and pretty boring it got somewhat rough with the scenes of the pigs being transported to the slaughterhouse, all that damn country music which only a dose of Led Zeppelin should cure, and the slaughterhouse finale went allittle too far; wanna traumatize your kids, just show them that scene near the ending, and some of the situations were just ridiculous! I tell you, this is in the same level as Howard the Duck!
