By the way, also.. from the way that the video suddenly cuts off in the scene pan upwards to show Kaite held prisoner, it's obvious they were censoring her being tied to a cross.

It was often used for dramatic effect in Japanese anime, because Japanese people are not Christian so there was no one to offend.

Those monkeys are so cute and cuddly to look at. The monster is the ugliest thing ever in a childrens show. Osama Tezuka was a real genuis. Unico's near-death was almost teary.

I think I like the first movie a whole lot more than the 2nd because the last fight scene is done much more dramatically than The Island of Magic. And I like the fact that the bad guy isn't simply someone who was lonely, but rather _the_ epitome of evil. Go Unico, you rock. :)
