@fatgirlfister The foundation of Science relies on the existence of God, to even be valid. Laws of science are basically descriptions of what matter does based on repeated observations. Based on these observations we can predict how matter behaves. If a worldview claims that there is no God and life is a result of random chance, then how do you account for the predictability/uniformity of nature? From Abraham to Jesus is 2000 years. and from Jesus to today is approximately 2000 years. So I would say the Earth is relatively young. Approximately 6000 years old.

The book of genesis teaches a literal six day creation of the world, and God resting on the seventh day.That is why the 4th commandment, tells us keep the seventh day sabbath holy, by not working, the same way God rested from His work on the seventh. Im in the UK and pretty much every kid I knew in school was atheist. 40% of people here were atheists in 2001 and its probably more like 50% now. Based on these observations we can predict how matter behaves. If a worldview claims that there is no God and life is a result of random chance, then how do you account for the predictability/uniformity of nature? From Abraham to Jesus is 2000 years. and from Jesus to today is approximately 2000 years. So I would say the Earth is relatively young. Approximately 6000 years old.

The book of genesis teaches a literal six day creation of the world, and God resting on the seventh day.That is why the 4th commandment, tells us keep the seventh day sabbath holy, by not working, the same way God rested from His work on the seventh. The Earth is not millions of years old as evolution teaches. If we follow the bible it is relatively young, approximately 6000 years.

The historical FACT is, the earliest and most important Christian and Jewish theologians did not take Genesis literally. Important and revered Jewish theologians in the middle ages in the 12th century like RAMBAM did not read Genesis literally. In Christianity, the early Church Fathers in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th centuries did not take it literally. People like Saint Augustine and Origen.

Im in the UK and pretty much every kid I knew in school was atheist. 40% of people here were atheists in 2001 and its probably more like 50% now. anyway there is no point to get angry or make fun or another stuff because when people make fun of there religion makes them feel bad so way do it for you it may be funny but not for them is serious stuff for them but again thats being human humans like violence and want to feel more intelligent Superior then others. not all but some do about want to feel superior then others

So whats the big deal some even may say will we will never discover or create important stuff yes we will prove that believing in God and science can get along the Mayas they had the most accurate calendar knew about the lunar cycle and many more why not can a science guy or girl believe God created science
