  • My religion is...thinking. The only requirement is you must question all of your own opinions and you can't shrink away from controversy. The goal is to mentally shed your skin through dissolution of the ego. Reading As A Man Thinketh/8 Pillars of Prosperity, smoking weed once a week, taking shrooms once a month, DMT once a year is highly encouraged. I believe the universal truth we experience is fractal, and is merely the unseen side of our beautiful Earth. <3 Nature <3 Truth <3 Mckenna <3 You

  • @LucidBuilder Bravo! A thinker!

  • I want this image blown up and covering my entire wall.

I love this painting, i love Terence Mckenna, and i love cannabis.

  • Ron Paul is NOT pro-cannabis. It is a political manipulation to get his vote. READ. This man lacks integrity. He took campaign funding from Neo-Nazis and the KKK, and makes no excuses. Investigate his integrity before you promote this politician (NOT ACTIVIST/ADVOCATE!

  • @pkallen58 He's not going to win...relax.

  • @LucidBuilder There are so many people that believe in him for this one reason that it sickens me. Thanks for the reassurance, but I don't think we're going to end up with a Republican, and I'm not renewing the lease with Obama. I'm voting Green...

  • I have had the exact same experience with my "doc." Indeed, they are STILL undereducated and polluted by their own shortsighted opinions.

  • too well spoken haha

  • i have faith that human kind will overcome their shortcomings with cultural taboos, superstition, mainstreem belief systems(religion) and propaganda. as generations proceed we will turn to love and understanding rather than controlled boundaries of the mind, cannabis will become "acceptable" somewhere along the process

  • the truth about canabis , i cant coment because 500caraters are not enough but here is a great video..

    watch and learn my friends..

    let´s wake up and fight

    /watch?v=NC3KSK4Axhg

  • Once when I smoked I had an out of body experience trip-- not just a high. I'm talkin bout a real trip w/visuals where I entered a Vortex where I could see other entities in the distance who were also in this vortex. The feeling was beyond amazing- it was a spiritual experience. I'm convinced this place is some kind of portal that directly connects souls to God. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

  • @Vannessamariahfan No but everytime I smoke that's exactly what I go for! I want to know how you did it

  • @warriors41 To be honest I don't really know how it happened but it occurred about 5 mins after smoking the blunt. When I left it happened instantly (maybe like 5 secs); it wasn't like it took me a couple of mins for the process of leaving my body to take place. It was my friend's weed that I smoked so I'm guessing he must have had sum really good stuff. Plus the fact that I had been fasting may have played a role.

  • @cavs608 Nope, but for your health I'd recommend not using cannabis until you are at least 22. That's usually when your brain is fully developed. Check it out and do some research before you start using cannabis; it IS a drug after all, just like you should read instuctions on let's say sleeping pills.

  • I'm going to quit smoking weed daily. Those of you who are following by his example should also see the video on how one should use cannabis. Once a week guys. I'm going to smoke every weekend but not during the week. It can become habitual and counterproductive, so like anything good do it in moderation,

  • @Chemicallobodomy I agree. It really does become habitual. I'm convinced that it has to be all or nothing w/me. I can't bring myself to only smoke once a week so I don't smoke at all because if I smoke it once I become a daily weed smoker no matter how long of a break I take from it.

  • Since I started taking mdma I started getting paranoid on weed. Duno if the 2 are connected.. How do you deal with paranoia on weed?

  • @crisisofconsciousnes Interesting, i recall once getting super paranoid when i was coming down after a few bong hits (which never usually happens) and i figured it was because my serotonin was zapped. If you use it quite often (say once or twice a weekend for a few months) your paranoia may come from serotonin depletion. You should start taking 5-HTP which will help replenish your serotonin quicker, and also take alpha lipoic acid and lots of vitamin c a few days before and after you drop.

  • URGENT

Mitt Romney opposes ALL marijuana, including for medical purposes.

    Ron Paul is pro-cannabis.

Register as republicans so you can vote in the republican primaries. Don't let Mitt Romney win. Vote for Ron Paul.

    watch?v=Rlz8zQoLs1s

    Spread this.

  • @qwexas please dont bring politics to the drug world because to be honest i enjoy having drugs illegal for if the were legal then we would have too much regulation and i, as a seventeen year old would never be able to purchase it. keep it illegal

  • @chucktaylor94 Alcohol is legal, and regulated, yet many minors obtain it. You won't be 17 for very long. In a short time you'll be 21. If weed is legal then, it can be legally grown, meaning there will be huge fields like wheat or corn, making its price drop to a fraction of what it is now. If it's legal, it may be harder for minors to obtain, but it will be much easier for the majority of the population, who are old enough.

  • @qwexas Voting is a waste of time. Republican or Democrate, either way you get screwed. We don't need a fucking government, we're adults and moved out of mommy and daddy's house a long time ago.

  • What does he say in 1:01 "...told fairly ?W?O?R?D?" ?

  • @Aivopiirakka Abrasive.

  • @Philfa Thankyou! :)

  • @Aivopiirakka Not a problem. Sorry it took two months for somebody to answer you.

  • 10 to 14? Gaah

  • how many time do u do this a day

    10 to 14

    and for how long

    around 25 years lmfao

  • ok im 16 and my grandparnets are saying im a dope addict because i use cannabis because it helps me have a better look on what my life and what other lives are. its tought me more lessons in my life than school has.if it wasnt for cannabis i would still be a depressed fuck who hates everyone and now i love all life, i love all living things. would you say im a bad person for this?

  • @cavs608 im 17 and my mom hates weed and thinks its bad :/

  • @WelcometoLockerz my gma and ur mom need to go fuck themselves :)

  • @cavs608 Your not a bad person. 16 is young. Be smart about your use. Dont let it control your life. When you become dependant on it to operate properly in society then its time to stop for a while. Remember you dont need a lot of weed to get high but the high you feel at 16 wont be the same high you feel 10 years from now. Don't try other shit. Unless it grows naturally then don't do it.

  • @GetSum63 im not amoron :)

  • @cavs608 I'm 15 and yesterday i had about a 150mg edible and went for a 2 hour walk. It was so amazing, I felt so connected to nature. At one point I started to skip because I was so happy to be alive and living. Don't listen to your grandparents, they have had government conditioning for decades. Stay High!

  • @Bigdawgphilleep it sickens me so much that people even think that there way of thinking and morals are even close to being right just cause someone else tells them that. sorry i dont wanna be a mindless puppet like them :)

  • @cavs608 I totally agree. I don't get offended very easily except when people believe that they way is the only way

  • The 5th time i smoked i actually saw strobe lights, the ground was slowly moving up somewhat in a wave type of movement, the room started to spin and then became mellow once again, words didnt match up with what people were saying or i didnt hear them at all. only person i heard was my bf who was right next to me. my outer vison was some what pixsalated. this was the first time i actually got high off of cannabis. It was very intresting, and very intense.

  • thought for the day, folks: if mckenna is the timothy leary of dmt, who will be it's charles manson?

  • Hola por favor alguien que se cope con los subtitulos!

    Muchas Gracias!

  • "Dopamine affects brain processes that control movement, emotional response, and ability to experience pleasure and pain and adreanline being 1 of the chemicals causing flight or fight, cannabis does not uptake dopamin to a high enough level to even make a deal about it"(Copyed & pasted from our convo)If dopamine is not increase to a amount to even make a deal about it then where dose the euforia come from or were you just talking about addiction??

  • cannabis is the gateway to enhanced thinking, i don't mean enlightenment, but just an opening to possibilities. it removes the barriers that society creates in your mind.

  • I"m so high, Mckenna sounds normal. You know how he always talks funny? yeah? well he seems all cool to me :)

  • Lol I know exactly what he's talking about when he says linear thought compared to the thought while on weed. It's like more creative and it conects thing that you never thought could be

  • This is the best video on cannabis. Anyone who even thinks about cannabis should see this.

  • Terence Mckenna was a true way shower, I wish he was still alive

  • I've been smoking and eating cannabis since I was 13. I have a college degree, nothing special just a A.A.. Cannabis has allowed me to become more expressive, artistic, free willed, and a very productive life. The common stigma associated with cannabis will tell you that it is a gateway drug, and it basically makes you unmotivated. I can say that the exact opposite is true for me. I started with a dream when I was stoned of owning a tattoo shop. Now I am a proud owner for almost 3 years!

  • When i was a teen i smoked heaps of pot. It made me agitated and also made me quite lazy and all i talked and thought about was weed. I eventually got kicked out of school and did nothing for 6 months. I eventually got my pot smoking into moderation and started studying for a dipolma in animation ( im quite good at drawing ). Pot helps me with my creativity and helps me come up with awesome ideas. So long story short pot made me realize what i really wanted to do in life and thats draw =)

  • never have i agreed with some one so match

  • Ya, this dude must have been really smacked when he recorded it, lol.

  • I am byoned high, and this is the besttseb thing, I've ever rheard.

  • He is totally baked for this audio xD

  • unlimitied Muse ability. One s fuel does does have alot to do with the experience of any substance that causes us to combust our fuel. This is the palate we work with. Starch and refined sugar indegigestible combinations, in short non shamanic use of any of these substances ( have not done dmt ) will cause all the demons blamed on the medium of choice. B + Js vanilla and amanita = what seems like eternity in " the Geggy Patch " Look up what to avoid with MAO inhibitors, be a shamanshroom

  • thank u for loading funny it didn't load except when it turned to 12:00 am April 20 2011 i smoked a bowl while listening to Terence mckenna on my first 420! fuck ya! it was hallucinogenic

  • ok the beginning of Terence's explanation of what pot did for him is almost exactly how it went for me totally calmed me down and let me be social totally awesome

  • WERD Macca

  • I would disagree, i used Cannabis and my dreams became much more in sequence and not random image perception... also i could remember my dreams easyer...

  • @superthingguy Interesting. Each personal reacts differently to cannabis. For me, I cannot recall dreams after cannabis use. When I smoked DMT, my dreams were very colorful.

  • @superthingguy

It's interesting. I'm the same as mckenna, lack of smoking induces more vivid dreams. But my friends are like you, they report better dreams from smoking.

It annoys me when authorities make links between some people smoking and schizophrenia then present this as evidence for the herb being harmful. When.. if you just ask anybody that tokes... you'll know that the effects are subjective and different for each human being.

  • @puredoodle ha, i know the feeling, Studying psychology myself so I know for a fact that correlation does not prove causation. the news only links together entertaining stories not the truth or the facts so all that bull about pot can stay with them... lol we should ask if they want any lol. oh, I would also say it depends on what type of weed i take... anyways, thanks for noting the reason why it was different for me, I honestly had not thought of subjectivity as a cause.

  • apparently from looking at the comments, cannabis makes you write alot. man i wish i was stoned.

  • Cannabis is a great psychic-cleanser-healing agent, intoxicating on it in a wisely it will help you reach a higher level in whatever expectations you have, just don't do it with the wrong people..i know it is a boundary dissolving smoke but always remember that also some sick fucks smoke it too...Choose your options and don't be afraid. My only regret about cannabis is that i didn't begin smoking it earlier in my life. Be humble to the earth PEACE & IMAGINATION

  • everyone keeps forgetting that there is no such thing as legal or illegal. Plants are here if you want to use them and no one and no thing can tell you what to do. If a pack of armed apes break into your home and try to kidnap you. DEFEND YOURSELF. Remember all that is is the animal kingdom. DOnt let any lifeform exert superiority or godliness over you. I dont play the legal or illegal games. If u fuck with me im going to kill you. Unfortunately you have to die over a plant..St00pid!

  • @CantWeedThis I think the same way...

  • @CantWeedThis k first off, if a pack of apes are all carrying weapons I will be wondering who taught them that weapons have value, then i would qwuickly be worried becasue these are some smart apes! Also good luck defending against an ape, let alone one that is armed......

  • dont be a geek smoke cannabis once a week

  • no way, weed allday then hash. here's why, has makes you sleep. sativas keep you going all day. indicas knock you out, especially the purples, haze, kushes,

  • When you smoke too much... you can't wait to smoke your blunt and when you smoke it, you regreat it! 1 time/week is the recommended dose because your system adapt to the cannabinoid compound and you need more to get a buzz and you buzz lesss... to make a long story short folks use marijuanna until you can't control yourself!

  • Hash in the day time, Bud in the night time. Everyday, its the best way to live, it made me realise how subjective reality is, i seem to spend my days in the back-drop of society, and so retain an outer, more clear and full perspective of reality...

  • @Jimmyswan2007 a "full" perspective, to me, is the combination of BOTH looking in and out. you can not begin to objectively understand anything merely through detached observation (you may certainly THINK you do). dropping out is not always tuning in (guilty myself). that which you observe and the observation itself are not separate entities, like a lens; as convex on one side as it is concave on the other. when your world starts to look the same day after day you have stopped paying attention.

  • vaporiiize kids vaporiiize!

  • i do smoke weed every day, is that fully OK !?

  • @MrParombo NO drugs r bad! mmmkaay.

  • You like this video. Thanks for the feedback! See more videos you liked.

  • awesome pic

  • terence explains the experience of cannabis beautifully and exact .. i admire this man very much..

  • if i dont smoke cannabis within 3 hours of going to bed, my dream life is also far more interesting

unfortunatley, i find that these dreams always escalate to a radical climax where i wake up and my whole body is covered in sweat 3 or 4 times a night.

i have taken it upon myself to quit for a week or so to decrease my tolerance, so that i can have psychedelic experiences on it again. i havent smoked any at all today, i wonder whats gonna happen in my dreams :/

  • @feztizieo How long have you been smoking? I have to wait at least 3 days before I can remember any dreams. I'm trying to lucid dream too but damnit I don't wanna stop smoking either..

  • @pendejadafcc really? thats a long time to not smoke weed. iv been smoking weed for a measely two years. its been a part of my life style for one year. im 18.

weed is addictive huh? but its such a harmless luxery and a great tool.

  • @pendejadafcc ..a vapourizer takes out the canniboids, i believe that its thoes that block dreams.....or its the other one that does, but either way u will dream is u vapourize......

  • @HOMEnHIGH na ive tried everything, no difference

  • @HOMEnHIGH a vaporizer takes out the carcinogens (poisons including carbon monoxide), not cannabinoids, otherwise it would be quite a waste to vaporize. you're inhaling steam when you vaporize, not smoke, and the steam is primarily cannabinoids. cannabinoids are the substances in marijuana that collectively contribute to the "high." THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is one of the primary cannabinoids. if you already know this, disregard.

  • @umbilicaltapeworm ...i knew it was one or the other...whatever it takes out is whatever stops u from dreaming i just couldnt remember which one............cheers for the heads up

  • nice house :-D

  • to Mckenna!!! hip hip hura hip hip hura hip hip hura!!!

  • i'm suffering 'cause i have to smoke cannabis alone and hidden from everybody, 'cause everybody consider it a bad thing that "will liquid you brain"..

On the other hand, i'm starting to meet more and more people who does smoke marihuana.. but not everyone does spiritual trips, just for fun..

  • @elisaisabel yer not alone! ...people are getting stoned all over the world...party in the 6th dimension!

  • i wish i had my medicine, he was a pillar of truth

  • It is truly sad that the mass of society inevitably will refuse to learn from great minds like that of Terrence McKenna.

  • when i get home from work i have 2 pipes and i can feel my spine go losse and body/mind relax, its a great thing, others have a whisky ect,but we all know what better for you, peace

  • @manxdude1 lucky you are to relax, and no one fingerpointing at you like you are a sick person.. Discrimination all the time. I hate it..

  • this guy... i love it!!!!!!

  • Smoking some Northern Lights and Purple Haze from Big Island Hawaii on my traditional Kiseru pipe. This buds for you Terence! Listen to his interviews with Art Bell. Mind blowing!

  • but no, this long list of positive experiences will never see the light of any media transmition because ¨recent science shows that cannabis may be bad for you again, after all. oh and alcohol is involved in roughly 65% of murders that occur, because the idiots that only have experience with this drug have no friggin parameters concerning positive drug use in order to base their use abuse and execution of inebriated behavior on, back to you Tim. ¨

  • Cannabis is a teacher. It will help you learn if used properly. I smoke it regularly at large amounts to quiet the mind, and become more receptive to the 'awareness'. I'm dismissive to negative ideas, and statements, but there is one that is profoundly true. Anyone who says that cannabis is a bad thing is a complete fucking idiot with no concept of reality whatsoever. Period.

  • @Qh31 i agree 100%, through manipulation of cannabis i have completely stripped myself of any egotistical tendencies, i have become more interested in the pursuit of knowledge, and my perspective has shifted from a very personal level to a "universal" one. i see no negative effects at all..

  • @Qh31

Thank you. We are not alone.

  • @Qh31 i love you

  • @Qh31 tought that i'm alone... but no, here you are my big bud friend:)

  • @Qh31 if cannabis was a teacher it could conceivably be a bad thing (teachers are not immaculate, they convey information both true and fallacious, based on how ones reality tunnel filters it). a drug is a tool; it may be dangerous if used irresponsibly but when used wisely may assist in the expansion of consciousness. it cannot corrupt that which is already corrupted, or enlighten that which sees clearly. I would suggest moderation however, to keep experiences fresh and new...

  • @Qh31

You know it's so funny that so many people who use hallucinogens and cannabis for self exploration arrive to VERY similar if not identical conclusions...I agree wholeheartedly that cannabis teaches you VERY important lessons...It highlights things about yourself that you need to work on...DMT, mushrooms, and Weed are all HUGE gifts from our Universe that teach us the most important things we need to know about our existence and the connection we all have with eachother...and their illegal

  • @Qh31 I smoke weed at school once and I panicked... I thought I was dreaming, couldn't remember things as seconds passed and I got a real fright; I smoked alot of weed, of course, but on that occassion I really frightened a little bit. Do you know why did that happen? :-??

  • @doom696mented

Because you smoked weed at school... it's too much to take

  • @doom696mented Weed increases the lvl of dopamine in your brain.Dopamine is one of the brains reward chemicals one of dopamines fx,s is that it makes things seem more important.Wich is the 2nd best theory for the paranoia that weed users sometimes get.Basically being around lots of ppl & thinking most of them are talking about you "probly" made you alittle paranoid.(just my theory. oh BTW dopamine is not harmfull to you)

  • @MrJoshsy I understand. Very interesting ! Thanks !

  • @MrJoshsy really because that's what cocaine does, and i don't feel a release of dopamin, i have smoked pot for about 3 years now, and have grown it, male and female, there is a compound called cbc fond in cannabis in the female lowner then the male, it acts on a adreanline receptor. adreanline being 1 of the chemicals causing flight or fight, it is a natural stimulent produced in the human body. this is why when cannabis dissolved in hemp oil causes a slight stimulent effect, and why cannabis.

  • @cheats59 causes stimulent like effect only at high amounts, cannabis isn't addictive like other compounds. so it can't release dopamin, meth and coke act on dopamin receptors this is why there addictive is because they effect the reward system.

  • @cheats59 As a chemical messenger, dopamine is similar to adrenaline.Dopamine affects brain processes that control movement, emotional response, and ability to experience pleasure and pain.Drugs such as cocaine and amphetamine produce their effects by changing the flow of neurotransmitters. When cocaine arrives at the brain reward system, it blocks the dopamine transport sites, which are responsible for the reuptake of dopamine in dopaminergic synapeses in this region. Up one post.

  • @MrJoshsy cocaine is not addictive to the body, it is to the brain, by effecting the reward system, dopamin isn't the reason cannabis is addictive, it does not uptake dopamin to a high enough level to even make a deal about it, it effects the adreanline receptor allot more and this is where it get's it slight stimulent effect.

  • @cheats59 Therefore, dopamine is not removed from the synaptic gap, and it remains free there, in ever increasing amounts, because successive nervous stimuli continue to arrive and to release dopamine. The effect remains until cocaine is removed from the presynaptic terminals. It is believed that the abnormally long presence of dopamine in the brain is responsible for the pleasure effects associated to the use of cocaine.Up one post.

  • @MrJoshsy yes but this is the dopamin is incresed by pre-cursors of dopamin being found in the plant, and not because of the cannabinoids. i deal with cannabinoids not pre-cursors to neurotransmitters, or Essential amino acids. and the fact is true for anything that contains tyrosine, or l-dopa(i might be wrong can't recall exactly the pre-cursors are called)

  • Comment removed

  • @cheats59 Cannabis dus not block the dopamine transport sites(it simply increases the amount made) there for being less intense. How ever I do not know wether cocaine is psysically or psychological additive.Cannabis is supposed to be psychological additive and cannabis dus alot of different things i only talked about what might of cause the reaction that he had.Any thing you like increases dopamine sex, food, reading books ex...just at very small amounts.

  • vap one for him to

  • what is the photo used in this video? any info would be great, thanks. -scott

  • @scottferreter

It's an edited pic of Terence sitting out back of his Hawaii home. You can find it in google images (I wouldn't know what keywords to search to find this one).

  • Terence Mckenna will never die! He is Immortal!

  • hurry someone get a pen and write this down.

  • haha he was high when recording this

  • oooh i love this

  • thanks terrence!

  • terence mckenna was very educated, researched, well balanced, open minded, psychadelic activist, very intelligent, and malleable and nourishing voice of the recent sweep in idealogy for the psychedelic youth!!!

  • Terence died of a glioblastoma, A German group has had incredible resullts in treating rhis vicious tumor using a type of virus.....I cant remember the name but if only he could have lived longer he could have been treated this master orator

  • I would walk down the road of hell if it covered in buds :D

  • Release from the "petty bourgeois" is exactly right. Get high and eat a buttery baked potato, open Shakespeare, put pen to paper, play your guitar, kiss a soft pair of lips, or listen to some Baroque harpsichord, and you will have a strong idea what a spoiled child of monarchy must have experienced when he did any of these things: pure sensuality untouched by worry.

  • Intelligent insight, concerning the barriers that cannibis lifts between layers, strata of consciousness. On a further note, the boosting of the range of freedom of consciousness which cannibis provides is filled with the contents of one's life and experiences: The shallower the content available, the shallower the meaning of "getting high". That's why it doesn't turn everyone who uses it into little Terrence McKenna's no matter how much they use.

  • @wenaolong absolutely. well put.

  • He is so brilliant. So fluid in his thought, yet completely coherent and strategically composed. He just lays it out like a big canvas of intelligent expose.

  • ive definitely found that cannabis use does take away my ability to have vivid dreams so when i stopi have amazing dreams

  • I've smoked and eaten ganja for almost 20 yrs.(not in a row of course), and yes it has an effect on your lungs, fer sure..but it is also a stabilizer for me. I don't trip out, I don't see things, etc. I just relax and feel normal. I want to explore, exercise, read, play drums. "The anxieties of the petty bourgeois," as Terence called them, do not matter in those times. It does help you past those constructs in your psyche that disallow you to proceed in your growth as an intelligent being..PEACE

  • @informationplz exactly.

  • @informationplz

    well said.

  • @informationplz well with certain types of marijuana and high enough dosages, i'm able to take astral journeys.

  • does anyone know where to find mp3's of this talk? or does it have any different names? i'd love to be able to give it to people.

  • download it with youtube downloader

  • yea whenever I take a break from cannabis my dreams are much more vivid and memorable

  • one day when i didnt smoke at all, i went straight into a Wake Induced Lucid Dream when i tried to fall asleep, it was incredible, and my dreams are always more alive when i dont smoke but that caught me off gaurd haha

  • thats true about the dream thing, i noticed that aswell!

  • Don't see Terence as a leader, see him as a man with a noble message, a message that is within all of us.

Learn from nature through psychoactive plants. Oh noble Gaia speaks a visual language.

  • I hope I meet Terence in the next phase.

  • ME TOO!

  • i think this is one of the most realest smartest things i have ever heard. and this is only part 1. i am so interested in this guy right now..im thinking baout the times in whic my freams ahve really taken over and when i was absent of weed and evrrythign he is asaying and they way he explains it about yr thinking baout short term tihings.. and whenn yr on caanibus how u thibnk about everything at once...wow..a genious. im about o make a video about this.

    XxLola tokes.

  • Watching this guys videos has changed my life. "Nobody is smarter than you are" Couldn't have said it better myself

  • The thing about dreams is undeniably true. So is what he says about creativity. The weirdest ideas come up when I meditated stoned. It's great, but I have to write them down to remember, haha.

  • art+herb=amazing

    music+herb=needed

  • ageed in full.

  • yeah man i smoke weed once or twice weekly and I play bass guitar and write lyrics. and I get like 98% every year in english, its skyrocketed my marks in english. I'm the top student in the class, easily, each year. I just smoke a joint and I can write like a motherfucker.

  • A thought on why cannabis might downgrade dream life: When I'm high, I find myself encountering people, events, and places that normally live only in my dreams, in a place where my waking mind has been barred entry. When I see these things in my conscious state, there's an exhilarating sense of familiarity: I've lived here, I know this woman, I've walked these corridors a hundred times. Partitions are being raised; conscious and subconscious are merging. Instead of saying cannabis diminishes

  • dream life, full stop, maybe we should say it diminishes the need to dream while asleep because we've already been dreaming while awake. Idea: take brain scans of people who are awake and under the influence, and compare them to brain scans of non-users in REM sleep.

  • smoked almost everyday for 14 years then quit, when i occasionally smoke these days its more like a trip than the stoned feeling i remember, too much too often definetely dulls your senses to amazing thoughts and insights using weed can give u

  • @FISHDINHO

I'm still a novice user, and have never even used it more than once a week--it's usually more like once every two or three--but I find my experience echoes yours. I vaporize one or two bowls, and my creative writing ability skyrockets. Often, the sudden flood of ideas and emotions compels me to write when I'd originally been resigned to an unproductive evening. I'd never want to diminish the beauty of this experience by trying to have it all the time.

  • \/ wrong

  • The first time I tried weed, I totally flipped out. I crawled into my bed and was extremely queazy. But you know, I figured out it was likely cos of the heavy, strong rolling tobacco that was in the joint, unfiltered. I got very stoned for the first time, and very queazy from the tobacco, so I took a left turn into a pulsing, intense stoned nausea.

I cut out the tobacco and learned to enjoy it, in moderation. I don't like people who smoke it morning to night, every day, cos they are not tuned in

  • although i believe (ideologically) in the acceptance of everyone, i agree with the all day, every day smokers not being tuned in. but sometimes (rarely, i think) people actually need it for whatever ailment, and require being stoned constantly.

  • What about Terence then? He's not tuned in? Your both bigots.

  • my both bigots? what does that even mean?
