she is an absolutely beautiful and graceful skater, but then not a fierce competitor at all. she should do more shows instead of competitions. In competitions, jump weighs the most among all the elements under the current judging system, and she is weak in it. my opinion, she should go professional.

The American skaters like Czisny and Wagner are stronger than the Asian Kim or Asada. The Asian super power in female ice skating is reducing. The American skaters have a better athletic training.
She seems to be having problems with the loop recently... *sigh* It is frustrating that she just can't put two clean programs back to back. I REALLY hope she can for Nationals. At this point, I am doubting that Cohen will show up... I think the podium will have Wagner, Czisny, and Flatt on it... not sure of the order. If Alissa skates two clean programs, there is no doubt she will defend the title. She really holds her destiny in her own hands.
Joannie Rochette is capable of a triple flip - triple toe combo and we all know that Ashley Wagner can do a triple lutz - triple loop combo. Alissa has been practicing triple toe -triple toe combos too. They seem to be playing it safe so far this season but I hope they raise the bar at the Olympcics !
The falls don't matter. Alissa is magnificent. I hope this is the same top two finishers in Vancouver; Joannie gold and Alissa silver. They are the two best skaters on the planet right now. Alissa is just a joy to watch, the very definition of lovely.
I admire Alissa for raising up her techincal merit this season. She has a few months before heading off to Nationals. I hope she skates great there and makes the Olympic Team. She deserves it :)

How is she better than Carolina Kostner? She used to do 3 flip 3 toeloop and alissa does 3 lutz 2 toeloop! Anyway, Alissa is beautiful!!!!

Vancouver prediction:
After short programs, Joanne Rochette, Ashley Wagner, and Alyssa Czisny will lead. It taks a fall from Kim and Asada for this to happen.
Kim will collapse under impossible pressure in FS. Asada will attempt two 3A, fall on both. Leaders from SF will maintain their lead.
It will be a North American sweep. In which order I don't know but they will be equally satisfying.
