  • I remember the Matinee announcers voice. I'm sure he also did voice overs for KCRA and probably KICU (or earlier KGSC) channel 36 in San Jose.

  • That announcer's voice was the late Ron Lyons, who - at one time - worked for KFBK, but most notably KNEW, KNBR and KCBS radio in San Francisco...

    KICU's announcer was Alan Waterous. He did Speedie Oil Change And Tune-Up commercials for years...
