I noticed that all of the books are gigantic -- terrible ergonomically for a human but perfect for a massive dragon. That's a nice bit of attention to detail on the animators' part!

ok, shendu owns an oni mask to summon the ninja kahn. clearly, he would no of the other masks, and he couldve rewritten the book, so that he was given possesion of them. instead of just having ninja guards, he could also have razor, bat, sumo, samurai, squid, leech, crab, and mantis kahn.

Two things:

1. Why did Shendu possess Jackie instead of someone in Australia? He wouldn't have alerted Jade and the others if he'd done that. Not to mention that Jackie lives in San Francisco, was in Hong Kong yesterday (during the 8th Portal incident), and believes all of the demons are gone, three facts of which Shendu is VERY much aware. He gave up the element of surprise for literally no reason.

@iamtrash123 Court jesters were often acrobats. Shendu wouldn't want Jackie to be in shape. He also thinks that forcing Jackie to feed him worms would be more humiliating. Historically, court jesters were actually allowed to make fun of kings and queens; Shendu wouldn't be able to stand that from someone like Jackie.

Like in this episode, Uncle, Jade, and Paco were standing at the Book of Omens about to rewrite history and he just sort of stood there and let them. He was too ashamed to admit that he couldn't really see exactly where they were standing so that he could throw a fireball at them so he just decided to use empty threats instead.

Like i said before, technology only made them better, but in it's basic form, this isn't needed. Also, it's a cartoon, you have to give it a bit of slack.

What I suspect is that after Shendu escapes the void when the others first get banished, he decides to steal the other animals' powers once he inherits the combustion power with the death of the last dragon, and Lo Pei's spell creates the talismans, and hence his dependence/relationship with the talismans.
