I heard one of the kids ask "is that the hole you put the camera in?" I'm guessing you found this by investigating after discovering ventilation pipe. Thats a pretty sweet find if thats indeed what happened. My friend found one when he purchased a house back in 2007 but it was all flooded out and pretty well damaged from heavy rust since no one had maintained it for such a long time. The 2 presvious owners didn't know anything about the shelter.

I like Civil Defense/Cold War history. This is what people built in their backyards in the 1950's and 1960's. The population was, for more of a better term, brainwashed into thinking that they would go into the shelters, and life would return to normal after the war.
