how hot does it get after a 30rd mag? i was reading on the keltec board some guy dumped a 100 round drum out of his and it melted the poly hand guard.

I didn't melt mine with a mag dump, but you probably could with more than 1 mag. If you're worried MI and red lion both sell an aluminum rail. If you are into mag dumps I would recomend an aluminum ar-15 with a better barrel. Or better yet something that shoots 5.45x39 because it is half the price of 5.56x45.

Ya I was loking at a AR15 pistol but I don't like the buffer tube sticking back at ya, Plus I like how the plr-16 is piston driven, I seen the MI rail but it's 125 which is kinda expensive in relation to the gun.

But then again KT's is like 50 bucks for poly :(

Being that prolly 99% of .223 caliber suppressors aren't designed for a 9" barrel.... Honestly I didn't even consider that when shopping for a suppressor until I heard you mention it....any issues?

I've only shot it a few times with that silencer. Try an aac 7.62sdn-6 if you're looking for a good one that should last on a short barrel.
