  • the pixel in the game are not so good on pc ?

  • It's because some peole have 64 bit vista which most programs arent' designed for since I think 64 bit uses a different coding or something.

64 Bit does NOT use DOS in any way whatsoever unless you get the unoffical Dos Box application.

  • how did you make the screen smaller mines is full screen?

  • if you help me out on how to get the iso image for virtual pc I'll subscribe I already download the virtual pc thing but it said no boot or something plz reply back thanks than I'll subcribe

  • @jay6157 just download it off the pirate bay if you dont have the original discs...however if you do have the original discs use superISO to extract ISO image and then you can play them.

  • whats the thing to download ff7 for windows vista do u need the ps1 controller to play it

  • 1 - It's for all Windows formats.

2 - You'll need to patch it for Vista and XP

3 - Any 10/12-button game controller will do

4 - No one will ever provide an ILLEGAL link to Final Fantasy VII PC... It's up to you to find it yourself :)

  • is this better then epsxe emu and does it have a game shark?

  • it's far better than epsxe, as it's the PC version. there are various methods of cheating, but search for "ficedula" in google. i'm sure this'll help you out for cheating :D

  • mines crashes at random times.... like wen i first started off in the reactor i leveled cloud up to level 11 do u know how many battles is that?! i didnt save n it crashed -_-

  • same...i deleted it and got ultima edition....just waiting for it to download

  • can you play css and cs?

  • Yes, you can play whatever you like on virtual pc

  • what is that can you make a totorial???

  • How come I don't need the Virtual PC to run FF7 in Vista. When I installed FF7 on Vista, it just ran and played 100%. I don't understand how most of you get problems. Tell you the truth, I used a Pentium 3 to run FF7 on Vista. And yes, a pentium 3 can run Vista but it's rating is only 1.0. Although the PC version of FF8 doesn't work.

  • some vista machines can run it, my nephews vista laptop runs it fine

  • I see. I still wonder why some can't run it.

  • Some reason the game it doesn't work for me. I run a Windows XP. is not required for it? I'll explain my problem actually, When I open it I hear sounds But it's just a black screen. Could it be my graphic card i'm using?

  • i have the disc for the game

is there a way to save the discs to the hard drive and play off that?

  • can u give me the control for pc?

  • virtual pc gave me a trojen

  • i think it was a false report as stuff from the microsoft site doesnt come with trojans ussualy, also try running it in adminstrator mode i think that might make it install properly

  • ok ill try tonight

  • hmmm im getting this virtual pc i was wondering what also do i need because i have windows vista but i have windows xp usb portable ?????? if you know anything please help me out

  • i have vista 32bit i downloaded this game it worked the first time but now when i try it i get a black screen but i can hear the sound??? what the hell do i do

  • pressin cntl alt delte or start button then clicking ff7 on the task bar may work

  • nope it didnt

  • @fukmenw also try repeatedly hitting I think space "bar" or "enter" I believe, no promises, suerte.

  • Can you explain exactly what I'll need to play this on Vista? I've downloaded the Ultima Edition and it says in the Readme file that I need Windows 95 installed.

    Please help me.

  • it might work from just installing it, if not ya,ll have to use a virtual machine like i did, the readme is old as the ultima edition is made to run on xp so ignore tha readme

  • Nice I'll try it.

But did you download the game, or did you use the actualy PC version of the game? If so, how did you get Virtual PC to read the DVD? And if you downloaded it, how did you get the entire file onto Virtual PC?

  • i downloaded one called ff7 ultima edition ;) and shared the file over the network, on virtual pc you can access the network folders so i clicked on the ff7 folder and istalled ;)

  • Nice Nice. Well, you think you can help me? I just got the FF VII on my Virtual PC, and its running XP (The blackish one thats kinda like the MAC) And when I run FF VII, all I get is the sound, plus a blank screen, then nothing but a blank screen. I read that I need to install some movie player, I think I did already. It was at the end of the installation, but still nothing. Think you can be a fellow and help me out?

  • hmmm i think i might be the codec, did you use a downloaded copy>?

  • Yes I did. But it turns out that the movie player came with it, I just had to uninstall all codec I had. hope I can install the codec after because I cant watch any movies...

I patched the game with a bunch of patches, it's awesome. Thanks.

BTW, it works on normal Vista too ya know. I tried it on Virtual PC, but it had sound problems, so I decided to try it on my normal PC under Vista, and it worked.

  • yea it worked on my old pc that had vista premium on it but when i replaced it with this new one that has ultimite it wouldnt work , i clicked on the ff7 icon under it and it jus crashed with the old error report thingy
