@eddiechinglives - I gotta say she's one of the most original rock drummers for sure, female or not. She's certainly up there with Brendan Canty and Janet Weiss as far as coming up with some killer rolling beats. That band really wouldn't have been what they were without Sara.

a broken e string wouldn't make you go out of tune it just means you can no longer play that string...you're a moron haha. They're just out of tune...big surprise.

actually breaking any string relieves some of the tension on the neck and makes everything flatter. so a broken e string would put a guitar out of tune.

also, as degradacja pointed out, the out of tune sound is intentional. I assume this fact eluded you somehow. don't worry it happens to lots of guys
