JLP deserves a higher profile than he has. The fact that so many people don't know who he was is a disgrace. The guy always appeared on the edge, pushing the boundaries of rock n roll but his sense of melody was supreme.

When I first heard this song, it was on a video from "fromsevenseas'", a White Stripes video and the title of course was, 'Jack on Fire'. But I thought he was talking about the literal Jack. You know, Jack White? Then I found out it was a real song by Gun Club. I just went , "ooooohhh!". But regardless, Jack was on Fire.
