I agree, the government totally sucks now. Why is the government trying to bring in peace, when Jesus is the Prince of peace?
There will be NO PEACE until He returns and even then, all the world governments are going to oppose Him so He'll have to defeat them at Armageddon.

Perfect response to the "special rights" argument. Rep. Ellison is the perfect speaker on this issue- especially from all of the notoriety re: the Virgil Goode statement before Ellison was sworn into office. Words and actions can affect an entire population- just by being said or done to one member of that community

1) This fool said he wants to outlaw "Hateful thoughts."
2) If you go to the website "Gay facts" you will see that the average life span of a male homosexual is 35.7 years with AIDS and 45 years old without AIDS.
3) We are banning smoking and transfats because it is a danger to our health, yet Liberals endorse a lifestyle that kills namely homosexuality.
4) This so called hate crimes bill is one step closer to imprisoning anyone who doesn't accept the homosexual lifestyle.

Darcytirsia, you are sadly mistaken
1) Rep. Ellison never said he wants to outlaw hateful thoughts. He actually said "violence is different". He specifically focused on violence motivated by hate and how those ACTS terrorize communities, not just individuals.
2) No one is going to be imprisoned for not accepting homosexuals. Anyone should be imprisoned, however, if they commit violent crimes against other people.
