  • I am an apple and I would not choose these styles. Empire waist baby! These styles are nice on my grandma.

  • hm the lady talking also is apple shaped and wears only plunging necklines :/ *confused*. i dont feel the first dress did the woman any favours, attractive though she is.

  • Apple shaped do generally have slimmer legs. Definitely I agree -highlight the "great gams" by wearing a dress or skirt.

Boxy blazers do nothing for the apple shape except create a box shape.

  • I hate being an apple! If losing 120 lbs will change my awkward shape that's how much ill lose(I'm currently 228 lbs). Not only is it hard to find flattering clothes but if you are apple shaped u have a tough time keeping extra fat off. I struggle so hard loving how I look when I hate it so much.

  • @87imastar Losing weight will not change your body shape. Just because they used a plus sized lady here it doesn't mean that all apple shaped women are plus sized. You will still have the same shape if you are thin. The only route to change your body shape is either pills like Dime Curves, Brand new Booty or surgery. I'm going down these routes.

  • Nice job. The dress w/the red stripe is fab-oo. If only dress designers too more advantage of what can be done with color blocking. Did you ever give the brand name of that dress? That would have been very helpful. The Apple is the hardest of all body shapes to dress and this kind of help is so very needed. Good on you!

  • hmm, those tips would be great if she was about 10 to 15 years older...

but come on, she's a very beautiful woman and hose clothes make her disapear a little. why not try on an emperor a line dress that shows off her cleavage for a bit glamour, a well fitted bluse and a fitted jacket with marlene jeans and some heels for business and maybe a medium to short a line skirt and a fun also a line wrap top for casual...? some accesoires and you're good to go without looking like a granmother...

  • very good tips
