Ola, butanoboy. I've heard bossa nova in many pretty languages (would agree that many defer to Brazilian Portuguese since it's the birthplace of Bossa Nova and so much amazing music from there, yes!) I am fairly certain this was written in English by Srs. Lins, Jennings and Viaforo. Jane Monheit can sing in either language quite beautifully (com muito "saudade") (just check her version of Ivan Lins "Acaso" and you'll agree) Obrigado para seu comentário e tehna um boa noite : )
