Your Mandelbox/bulb animations are fantastic. Thanks so much for making and sharing them. This one is my favorite. I always find zooming out from a fractal, watching your original view dwindle to nothingness, more mind-blowing than zooming in.
This Mandelbulb is somewhat proof that Daniel White got it right. This is best zoom I've seen so far of a 3D fractal. I'm humbled by the simplicity of the formula which can generate such utter, mind-blowing complexity with ease. Great work with the flight path and camera. This was done with Mandelbulb 3D? Write your own parameters...? I know what I'm going to be doing this weekend!
Great camera work, smooth pitch and rolls nice slow zooming, really looks like an alien landscape!!! Very inspiring.. just starting with Mandlelbulb3D I've alot to learn... thanks for sharing... this is like a tutorial :)
Holey Moley! I LOVE your Mandelbox and Mandelbulb animations, bib. Well done! I've been playing with UF, using Makin's formulas, but haven't gotten near your level of artistry yet, in motion or lighting control. You inspire me!
Although I did most of my videos with UF, all the latest ones have been done with Mandelbulb 3D, which is free to download on fractalforums. The camera movements are far easier to set up than in UF and the calculation times much better.
Unfortunately I can't render any animation now, because there is too hot in Poland and my computer is overheating (after 1 hour of rendering CPU has 85˚C).
awesome! I like when you sort of pause the zoom to cam around those bulbous features. looks like a brain and brainstem at about 1:20 "This is your brain on Mandelbulb 3D" (^_^)
This is one of my favorites! Wow, do you still have the formular for this?

Thanks for the nice words. I also think that zoom outs are more interesting and full of surprises :)

This is NOT a Mandelbulb. This is a hybrid 3D fractal mostly based on a Mandelbox plus some additional folding...
Have fun with Mandelbulb3D!

Very nice indeed. What rendertime did you have on MB3d?
