Is sad to know there are some people out there that do not have any fellings, my son pass away in may due to cancer, and till someone very close to you go thru all that pain you would never understand what feels like...bur alittle bit of sympaty won't hurt, It can happen to anybody, don't forget that... This movie is bad and I'm a cancer survivor. It was kinda fun until they shoved the Christianity thing down our throats. My Sister's Keeper is a better movie about childhood cancer, though that movie is pretty cheesy too.

This movie changed my life. I get sad and don't smile alot but he is sick with cancer and still has a smile. God changed alot of peoples lives wih this story of tyler. God works in srange ways but, he knows what hes doing and he doesn't mess up. He knew what he was doing with tyler and everyone who was in his life. God changed alot of people but, he mostly chaned my life with this story.
I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Non Hodgkins Lymphoma last summer, a month before my 15th birthday. Some people would say it was a "living hell". The things kids with cancer go through are unthinkable. To even think of a child getting cancer is also unimaginable. But somehow, I found a way to smile through the pain and be optimistic about my situation. And even though what I went through was terrible, and I could've spend all my time feeling sorry for myself, I thanked God I was alive another day.
Some people think that this movie is a matter of life and death. however, It's not just a movie. I Assure you, it's much more Serious Than That. It teaches you about hope, love, patience and even more, it makes you live reality and have faith... :|

I know a 5 year boy who was recently diagnosed with adrenal, kidney, and liver cancer. He has been in heavy radiation treatment for 3 weeks and does not have a whole lot to be happy about. My ex-boyfriend is dying from lung cancer, and right after I watched this movie (of course hours of tears and emotional breakdown), I started writing a letter to God about my ex-boyfriend. Hopefully, let there be a seed inside of him to realize God is the only saviour for him.
thisn is definitely a good movie i'd like to save on dvd...i think the message here is that just because we dont get what we want in the end doesn't mean God has ignored our request. he promises to walk us through times of tribulation
This is the saddest thing i have ever heard, and saw. My grandfather has gotten diagnosed with lung cancer in 2005. I miss him so much. I am 12 years old and i pray for everybody who has been diagnosed with any kind of cancer/sickness.

He's a young boy and that's how he wanted his prayers to be sent to God. And yes I agree with thehunter703, God will definitely be showing you through some way you can't imagine! That so-called "spirit" that people claim to feel is simply a primitive attempt to explain particular emotions. And the way science explains those feelings today is by defining them as physiological responses -- interactions between chemicals in the brain.
The message at the end is amazing: "You are a letter...written not with pen and ink but with the Spirit of the living God" It made me realize that it should also be my mission to be a letter that turns people to God.
In 2002 my older Brother was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma Type B. I was 10 years old at the time and I can tell you that was one of the worst summers of of our lives. My grandmother died that same year with Bone Cancer. The day she died my dad was driving down the road and stopped whether to go North to Cincinnati to be with his son. Or South to Lexington to be with his Mother. By the Grace of God my Brother is 9 Years cancer free and is at Medical School studying to be a pediatrician
@drwatson1234567 My nephew was 5 days old when he had colostomy. Doctors told my sister to just let the poor baby die. She prayed, we prayed and once we called my brother at Youth to tell the pastors to pray, the whole church prayed. He had 4 more surgeries and 1 of them failed while he was supposed to get it reversed. Now he has ileostomy. Thanks to God, at the age of 1 year and 5 days, my lucky nephew is still living and he is always loved! Have faith in God and pray. God is the way of life.
For those who say "I don't believe in God" doesn't make Him any less real and you can say the same thing for those who do believe in Him. But there is one thing for sure, one of us is wrong and the other is right. But if the believers are wrong then there is no consequences but if the non-believer is wrong there is a price to pay for eternity and that's not something I am willing to risk. God loves us and gives everyone the choice of free will. Choose wisely.....

I loved this movie. All throughout the movie i said "I know how you feel buddy" cause I had a heart condition, but dont worry im ok now. And yes I know its not as serious as cancer but you would be suprised how much the treatments are alike. But his are more though. He truly is an inspiration.

I am Jewish and i was miracoulsly healed by Yeshua (Jesus) 9 years ago from Bulimia/Anorexia had very severe case to the point that my doctors gave up on me. But God didn't!!! He gave me another chance to see the reason i was made for. I am so greatful. I know many stories where God has healed people from all sorts of illnesses from the smallest to the greatest. Nothing is impossible w/Him.

I know a kid who beat cancer. She didn't need faith. She just worked hard and fought to beat it. It's been years since and no signs. God doesn't help you. Fighting back does.

This movie changed my life. I get sad and don't smile alot but he is sick with cancer and still has a smile. God changed alot of peoples lives wih this story of tyler. God works in srange ways but, he knows what hes doing and he doesn't mess up. He knew what he was doing with tyler and everyone who was in his life. God changed alot of people but, he mostly chaned my life with this story.

I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Non Hodgkins Lymphoma last summer, a month before my 15th birthday. Some people would say it was a "living hell". The things kids with cancer go through are unthinkable. To even think of a child getting cancer is also unimaginable. But somehow, I found a way to smile through the pain and be optimistic about my situation. And even though what I went through was terrible, and I could've spend all my time feeling sorry for myself, I thanked God I was alive another day.

I know a 5 year boy who was recently diagnosed with adrenal, kidney, and liver cancer. He has been in heavy radiation treatment for 3 weeks and does not have a whole lot to be happy about. All I can say is why must that kid go through that. Come on god , now im not meaning to disrespect you but if he doesnt make it ....well he was only 5. Never got to play baseball or go on rollercoasters or have a life. i would trade my life today for his. God help him and his family love from all

My ex-boyfriend is dying from lung cancer, and right after I watched this movie (of course hours of tears and emotional breakdown), I started writing a letter to God about my ex-boyfriend. Hopefully, let there be a seed inside of him to realize God is the only saviour for him.

thisn is definitely a good movie i'd like to save on dvd...i think the message here is that just because we dont get what we want in the end doesn't mean God has ignored our request. he promises to walk us through times of tribulation

This is the saddest thing i have ever heard, and saw. My grandfather has gotten diagnosed with lung cancer in 2005. I miss him so much. I am 12 years old and i pray for everybody who has been diagnosed with any kind of cancer/sickness.

I just found out last week that my mother won't be surviving from cancer so she'll be gone in less than a week and I'm still in high school. I went into the library and this movie just came and was on the shelf. Maybe it's a sign and it'll help me get through this.

God works in ways that some people who don't believe just can't understand. i don't blame you and I don't judge you. I just feel sorry for you. Call me a religious fanatic or whatever you want. I'm going to keep praying and having faith in God. You wanna know why? Because He takes care of those kids with diseases like that. He helps them through it or takes them home.

God cannot affect free will, which is stated in the bible. And when God takes care of these sick children, he allows some of them to die because he feels its necessary right? @loner1878 If you actually took the time to watch the movie, you would see NO ONE pretends to be God by responding to the letters. Writing letters was Tyler's way of praying to God. He's a young boy and that's how he wanted his prayers to be sent to God. And yes I agree with thehunter703, God will definitely be showing you through some way you can't imagine! How can you be so idiotic and oblivious to that?

God probably doesn't exist. Just because you can find yourself feeling emotional over a movie or genuine coincidence, it does not mean that a God exists. That so-called "spirit" that people claim to feel is simply a primitive attempt to explain particular emotions. And the way science explains those feelings today is by defining them as physiological responses -- interactions between chemicals in the brain.

In 2002 my older Brother was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma Type B. I was 10 years old at the time and I can tell you that was one of the worst summers of of our lives. My grandmother died that same year with Bone Cancer. The day she died my dad was driving down the road and stopped whether to go North to Cincinnati to be with his son. Or South to Lexington to be with his Mother. By the Grace of God my Brother is 9 Years cancer free and is at Medical School studying to be a pediatrician

@drwatson1234567 My nephew was 5 days old when he had colostomy. Doctors told my sister to just let the poor baby die. She prayed, we prayed and once we called my brother at Youth to tell the pastors to pray, the whole church prayed. He had 4 more surgeries and 1 of them failed while he was supposed to get it reversed. Now he has ileostomy. Thanks to God, at the age of 1 year and 5 days, my lucky nephew is still living and he is always loved! Have faith in God and pray. God is the way of life.

For those who say "I don't believe in God" doesn't make Him any less real and you can say the same thing for those who do believe in Him. But there is one thing for sure, one of us is wrong and the other is right. But if the believers are wrong then there is no consequences but if the non-believer is wrong there is a price to pay for eternity and that's not something I am willing to risk. God loves us and gives everyone the choice of free will. Choose wisely.....

I loved this movie. All throughout the movie i said "I know how you feel buddy" cause I had a heart condition, but dont worry im ok now. And yes I know its not as serious as cancer but you would be suprised how much the treatments are alike. But his are more though. He truly is an inspiration.

Awesome Movie. Very True and inspiring :). Oh Honey God is so real if He wasn't i wouldnt been here today. I am Jewish and i was miracoulsly healed by Yeshua (Jesus) 9 years ago from Bulimia/Anorexia had very severe case to the point that my doctors gave up on me. But God didn't!!! He gave me another chance to see the reason i was made for. I am so greatful. I know many stories where God has healed people from all sorts of illnesses from the smallest to the greatest. Nothing is impossible w/Him.
