@FreshFruitInc I don't entirely disagree with you , but, a LOT of the stuff out there is extremely similar, and yes this was the case for dNB and other genres as well. One thing that i notice in particular are drums, and most guys seem to be using the same drum kits, or they are all aiming for the same sound. This also applies to individual artists, for example, take Netsky in DnB , the guys a really good producer, but his drums sound exactly the same in most of his tracks.

@FreshFruitInc i guess the point i m making is that as time goes on , it gets harder and harder to create music that is fundamentally different, and so, very small changes are enough to warrant a whole subgenre.

I guess i m just surprised that some of the these producers don't get sick of making tracks with almost the same sounds, at the same tempo, with almost identical drum patterns and arrangements.

@kw1213 Netsky uses the same break for a lot his works i know that. but i guess that considered more trying to put a stamp on his work than anything else? don't get me wrong mate, i know exactly what your talking about but i suppose it gets to the point where a producer makes themselves a novelty due to one element of their first popular song (e.g Doctor P Sweetshop and the high-pitched yet somehow subby bass). So i guess it comes down to being lazy haha.
