As a voice teacher for Bel Canto, I would say that the singer (韋秀嫻?) in this video is very appealing, comfortable, and beautiful. There is no need to compare this with the Italian style of singing. Using classical music style to interprete and to sing a Chinese song may not be necessary, and may not have the best effect.

i think Wei Sau Han is great singer, dont forget she been singing behind 100 movies both in Cantonese and Mandarin films for many super stars at her era......you see if she is not great, no super stars will want her to sing for them, and no films company will hired her to sing.....you must be good to be able to hire by film company to sing for their theme song or for their valuable star's image....

民乜鬼嘢族唱腔呀, 戲曲、山歌嗰啲就民族唱腔, 呢首歌同《教我如何不想她》一類作品都係用西洋曲式作, 當然係用西腔唱啦!!!

佢開學校都係教西洋聲樂, 根本佢就唔夠氣, 唔掂就係唔掂

Can you explain the meaning of 用西洋曲式作 here? What 西洋曲式? Strophic form? Through-composed? Does that mean anything that is 用西洋曲式作 must be sung in western classical style?
