If I were you, I would get Alienware because you're doing gaming right? Because if the macbook pro lags to much you cant get another video card to increase the performence since the motherboard is too small. I reccomend alienware aurora because the one you purchase on Best buy has 9 GB of ram and is expandable to 24 GB. So, thats a fast processor even to for gaming.

try R6V, that has one part that's set in mexico, but it really looks like the middle east. have you tried fallout 3 or crysis? if you dont mind playing them, then they'll be well worth it. fallout 3 especially, since you can do whatever you want in it.

it wasn't really that epic. personally I prefer FO3 over oblivion. in fallout 3 you can be whatever the fuck you want, badass, gary stu, mary sue, you name it. I mean you cant really blow up towns in oblivion....thats what I like about fallout. also it's addicitve. but one thing I do in both of them is make a living almost exclusively off of larceny. that never gets old.

If you ever wanted tips on some good computer hardware, i could easily save you hundreds of dollars on buying your own parts instead of getting them off alienware of a pre build manufacturer. :P I like helping people pick out hardware for there rigs. Course by your set-up it doesn't look like you need to save the extra few hundred, but if you ever just wanted a second opinion, I'd be happy to help. That's also if you feel like building your own pc, which i love doing :)

the hinges broke off after 2 months.

The asus is probably better quality than alienware. I had m15x Alienware before it could handle a lot of games but unfortunately the quality was so poor the hinges broke.

I was born an AF Brat in 73 at Tyndall AFB. I have been to Loring AFB in Maine, Bitburg AB in Germany, and Reese AFB in Texas. Out of the planes my father worked on- the F-106 Delta Dart, the F-15 Eagle, the F-4 Phantom, and the T-38 Talon, I love the F-106 the best.
