  • wawawawaa

  • that amp is shit ! i had it .. Straight shit

  • how can somebody have such a lot of stupid videos???????????????

  • Conventional installation in a nutshell

  • What a dick power brown,, power is red idiot... dud!!

  • what the fuck did he just say???? obviously not an expert

  • ground comes first ALWAYS jackass...

  • He reminds me of Tha fat kid on up! Hahahahahahaha

  • yeah hes a joke...lol

  • he seems like he been force to do this

  • I'm use my factory head unit cause of the steering wheel controls but the

Stock head unit doesn't have a remote amp wire what can I do

They told me to wire it to the ignition but how do I do that

  • @FourthBattalion There should be a Red Wire located on the wiring harness for your stock head unit. Splice into it and run ur REM from it... If ur unsure which wire it is... using a test light test wire by putting touching the light to a wire and then turn ur ignition as if u were going to start the vehicle. when the light turns on u found ur ignition wire. Hope this helps

  • good rewiev

  • yeah right when im inatalling im like fuck yeah im getn faster to omega slappage!!!!! i gotta hurry up yeayah! haha

  • lmfao.....did he try to snap his fingers at 1:43

  • power for power, nice dude!!! you make ME feel smart

  • ur borinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

no energy fuckin gay close ur channel mf pls stop torturin all of us

  • StUPid

  • wtf??? that was sooo helpfull. NOT!!

  • just hook it all up while your car is off and the fuse is out of your battery wire then put it back in and turn on ur car lol

  • I have 2 12 inch dual voice coil 4ohm kicker cvr subs wired in series to a kole 3000 watt mono amp which is 1 ohm stable , me wiring the subs in series is this making the amp see 1 ohm?

  • @ricoswell1 my friend,If you connect two dual coil 4 ohm speakers in series with basically each of the four coils connected to the next in a series you get 16 ohms. I think you have your terminology backwards. I know from watching his videos that he's totally wrong about series and parallel. He switched them up. Do your research on parallel and if you connect all four coils in parallel it drops to an ohm. Obviously check the power rating on the speakers with the rms output at 1 ohm from the amp.

  • my truck idles wierd and almost stalls when i turn my amp up, what should i do to fix it lol

  • pioneer 760

  • that helped me not 1 bit, 2 minutes telling what order to hook up

  • what a LAZY ASS lol

  • HAHAH this guy is so douchey, but I freaking love him.

  • who here is wondering how to setup a amplifier for a car to your home stereo speakers without a powersupply that you have to go out and buy..and without all the chords that you wld use with the back of a car head unit. well message me and if i get more then 5ppl ill make the video its very simple and easy

  • It really doesn't matter what order you hook up your anmplifier in because you're supposed to disconnect the ground from the battery anyway. Also, when using an amplifier with the flat screw terminals, ALWAYS use spade terminals for a proper and clean looking installation. Finally, don't use less than a 4awg wiring kit. You won't need that much wire for a 300Wrms amp, but it'll be nice when one day you want to upgrade and don't want to swap out all your wiring.

  • I heard it was recomended to manually install a fuse on the power cable if one was not already installed. If the amp has a fuse, woul dI still need on on the power cable?

  • @BLKHAL0 always do it be safe im pretty sure your supposed to i have never seen a vid or install guide that says its unneeded

  • Hey i have GND in both side of the amp. Im not sure which one is the right one. it goes like this: Batt. (screw) GND (screw) | (screw) P.Remote on the other side it says GND (screw) as well. pls help

  • you're monotone, boring as fuck, and most likely gay.

"power is for power, and grounding is for grounding."

what the fuck does that even mean?

    fail.

  • You fail for not understanding.

  • @chadtizzle You sir, are an idiot.

  • @subWOOFFA why am i an idiot?

  • @chadtizzle because there are people in the world, believe it or not, stupid enough to not know that stuff. I'm amazed you're not in that category.

  • its ground first then power then remote.

beacuse then you at least have earth on the amp.even if it is turned on.

  • Comment removed

  • YOU DING DONG!

  • Hook up power before 12V switch? WTF you should have the battery disconnected until all of these connections are made so it doesn't matter the order.

  • The best ground possible is your penis. Why do this you ask? Because its recommended. Haha

  • OMG, its RUSSEL from UP talking about amps!

  • this guy just rambles and doesnt explain anything.lol. id be sad to ih i was that uglyyy.hahahahaaaa

  • You are an absolute fail.

  • agreed

  • my girlfriend likes my wenier

  • @Hardmaterial

    She Like mine too :)

  • lmao, this guy makes me feel like an idiot,

  • @zummrox lol. This guy makes me want to take a nap.

  • wow that did nothing at all to make me "smarter" about amps i actually feel stupider

  • what happen when you do not have a good ground

  • your amp wont put out as much power before cutting off

  • conecting the grownd reduces sparks.. so if you dnt have a good grownd bigger chance in having sparks

  • I'm impressed... he was able to talk about car amps for almost two full minutes without actually saying anything even remotely useful.

  • Now I've heard the "common" being referred to as "ground" before, so Is the ground a "safety ground" or is it the "common return", and If the ground is a safety ground, does that mean that the remote completes the circuit, or is it a ground based on potential?

  • Lame advice, could have be summarized in a sentence.

  • hey i need some help my amp doesnt have the remote conection. it has 4 chanels for the speakers or subwoofers and the RCAs, and power and ground and some fuses .thats all..how can i install my amp? thank u .

  • hook up ur power wire all the way to ur battery. the R.E.M hooks up to ur fuse box to the radio.. the gnd well its a ground wire so ground it to the floor boards. or to the frame to the seat.,, then u hook up the speakers to the amp. make ur adjustments on the bass,, if this dont help give me a message and ill be sure to make a video for you. on how to hook up a speaker system.

  • this video didnt help one fuckin bit

  • im 16 and learned how to hook up speaker systems by myself.. altho when i got my system in my truck i didnt hook it up a friend of mine whos good at hookn up systems hooked it up for me, a month later my wiring got screwed up in my truck now when i hit the blinkers all my lights flash at the same time. when i hit the brakes my hazzard lights turn on. i even have to hit the brakes and turn on the headlights to start my truck. in order to get my engin service soon light to turn on =/

  • HUH HOW DID U DO THAT I DONT GET IT???

  • do what? learn how to hook up a speaker system by urself? or my truck? if ur systems hooked up simply check where all the wires are hooked up, then disconnect everything, write everything down and be sure dont forget where its all connected at. so nexy time u connect it ull remember. i disconnet my speaker system every time i need to work on my truck, and i remember it all by heart where the wires go, i helped a friend put in a system in his truck in 5 mins.

  • damn, funniest shit ive ever heard, i'd hook it up right for ya, wouldn't charge ya either, but i'd love to see that shit in person..

  • haha yeah tell me about it, ma truck is all fuked up now. lol, but yeah funniest shit thats ever happened to me. i just wish i could find somebody who can fix all my wireing in my truck. the system can come in later.. my cd player is all fucked up rite now.. i think i burned the amp in it... everything has to connect to my amp now..

  • dude bring it to me n i'll fix it...

  • what? the whole truck? or ma cd player? is it with no charge? if its my truck.

  • all of it, i will c what I can do, i've been working on wiring and systems for like 10 years and I don't fuck up, but i am just curious as how u managed to have so many problems, I could give it my best shot, and that would be better than u stick ur arm out the window in the winter.....

  • haha yeah thats true man, id love to, i dont have a trailer. id hope ud beable to fix it, if im able to take ma truck up there some how. what state u in? and what do u charge? i dont got a fuken job so i doubt i can pay it off..

  • I watch this video every night to help me fall asleep.

  • lmfao guy your fucked

  • I know

  • Expertvillage sucks!

  • how do u connect to implifiers to a single rca in a recever??

  • line driver

    or a rca splitter

or if the amp has a rca pass through

  • Laern how to sepll.

  • sad thing is...WE DON'T KNOW THE BASICs,least I don't.Needing to hook up a system and have never done it before.

  • THIS GUY IS SO BORING!

  • "what is conventional installation?"

it's where I put my penis into her vagina.

  • power... ignition... ground... install... remember... order... power... remote.....

how the fuck do you install

  • boring stuff? installation is the best part.

  • MEMPHIS CAR AUDIO YA YA YEAH

  • ? Can I use a 1000 watt computer power supply with a power lead changer to power the amp, in a sence be able to use i as a car battery, also what is the standard amps used on a car amp, the computer dc puts out 12 volts 1000 amps can handle very easy

  • yes u can as i do it, but are you sure its outputting 1000 amps? cos my amp only needs 22, its a kenwood KAC-6403 500Watt amp. look on my profile for my sound system vid, its only short but took at the link in the desciption, im sure that will help you

  • short answer, no - atleast not effectively. you would be better off just hooking up a battery charger > battery > amp like they do in show rooms.

  • note: that's to say if you were planning on using a car speaker/sub for home audio.

  • too much rambling and assumptions

  • Hes holding my amp. lol

  • my amp shuts off after it gets so loud and protection comes on can somebody tell me whats wrong

  • Check ground wire?

  • wats you amp and speakers watts

  • this guy looks so depressed. maybe its time for a career change

  • i got a 12'' subwoofer, on the back it says 8 ohms and 20watts... i wanna put it in my truck, can i amplify it at all? i want more output... please help!!!!!

  • with 20 watts i dont think you need an amplifier... u hooking that up to anything would blow it, lol

  • what brand and model sub is it?

  • Hi There - cool video. I was wondering if you could help me find an amp for my 03 X5? I'm at a loss and cannot find a replacement apm to my car. When I called the dealer and gave him my car specs he gave me a part # of 65126940977 but after later checking the amp in my car it reads # 65126940977. Would you happen to know where I can find one?

    Your help is much appreciated.

  • on the bmw X5, I believe the battery is located under the spare tire. an aftermarket amp I would look for, It'll probably be cheaper too then factory. On a bmw, I wouldn't install it myself.

  • LOL

  • he looks so bored

  • Hi. i need some help.

All i have left to buy is a deck. I have everything hooked up. but them amp wont turn on to green.

the remote wire and the 2 cables for the deck are not hooked up.

Do i have to have those hooked up for my Amp to work?

  • you need to hook up the remote wire for the amp to turn on and you need the 2 rca cables for a signal

  • omg thank you SO MUCH! god i thought my amp didnt work. im new at this so.

i havent got everything yet to hook up but this weekend im buying a deck! thank you!

  • no problem any other questions feel free

  • If you want to test that the amp turns on, get some spare wire, can be as thin as you want, and strip both ends. touch one end to the positive terminal on the amp and one end to the remote terminal, while your battery is connected. This should give it the required signal to turn on. You won't hear any music etc. as there is no signal, but the amps lights should turn on. Don't screw the cable down, just hold it in your hands and touch either end to the terminals.

  • ok thanks for the help ill try it.

  • if you were going in a specific order wouldnt you hook up the ground first..... so the amp would be "grounded"??

  • no if you hook up ground first and you accadently touch the b+ wire to the amp and it grounds off you can fry your amp

  • thats why you should always be safe when connecting power wires

  • ya good point for sure if investing alot of money in amp's if not taken care of properly is allwase unwise

  • haha i think i did that yesterday when i was trying to set my amp back up its my stupid fault for trying to do it at night in the dark...but yeah i think i fried my 1000 watt amp ima have it check out

  • ya make sure to check the fuses as well and all conections my ground came undone and i thought i fried my amp as well

  • yeah i checked the main fuse under the hood and that was blown so i jus went out and bought a new fuse for like 2 dollars and now im bumpin again thanx i need to buy some 12"s tho cus these 10's suck

  • yo dood, its not the size of the speaker, but the brand wattage and ohm style of the speaker!!! do ur research before u just buy into it!! my cousin has 1-10'' phoenix/gold sub and it thumps like a mofo!!! pl think he gots like 2-12s!!

  • yes brand and watts make a difference, but i believe that different size subs produce different frequencies of bass, for instance a 10 is the tight thumping bass whereas a 15 would be more of the deep bass, correct me if im wrong, but that's the reason 12's are so popular, best of both worlds

  • Yeah, that's what I've learned from experience.

15"s are generally the "Godzilla's coming" bass, 10"s are more of the ear-imploding mids, and 12"s are the middle ground.

    I've gone through a 15", 3 10"s, and 2 12"s and I have to say...my favorites were the Dual brand 12"s I had by far.

If you're not sure what you're doing, just talk to someone that's done it before. Whether it's a $20,000 beast or a bargain rig from Ebay, they're probly proud of it enough to show you the mechanics behind it.

  • It really doesn't matter what order you hook up the amp because before ALL of that, you're supposed to have disconnected the ground from the battery anyway.

  • Truth.

  • does an amp go on proteced mode when you bumb all dat

  • 4 channel amp and two 25 amp fuses man better have some good speakers for that hehe

  • 25amp fuses would give you about 100watt rms x4 @ 4ohm load 2ohm would get u around 175watts rms if not lower... I have a 4channel 1800watt Crunch amp that runs 2x 30amp blade type fuses pushing a full Kenwood interior setup 3way 5x7"s in the doors and 2 1" dome tweeters over the dash and 2 6x9" and 2 more 1" dome tweeters in the back dash then a 2000watt ZX-8400 with 2x 40amp fuses pushing 1 Power Acoustik 15"

  • lets see your system!!!

  • los chinitos si saben

  • This is not informative at all Expert Village sucks dick

  • This is an exerent video thanks.

  • why my amp go of whent I tourn my stereo

  • Does your car speakers go off too? Check all your connections, check to see if your fuse is connected completly into the power wire, check the settings on your car stereo. Let me know if this helps at all. Peace, imthefreak.

  • Double check the ground. Without a good ground it would do that.

  • Your amp may be faulty (Doa) or your amp may have a protecetion setting.

Cheak to see if the red light comes on if so this is the case & you will need to cheak to see if you have any wires touching - or + If not you will need to do what the others have told you & cheak your power, earth, or even anther one of my tip's your R.C.A's hope this helps.

RUMBLE & PUNCH car audio Australia.

  • hey man, could you do a video on how to installs an amp to an original unit/stereo?> i would reall appreciate it, thanks.

  • You can not do this unless you original head unit has R.C.A input's

    hope this helps.

  • lol the last thing you do is install the fuse under the hood

  • how do i install a capacitor ? plz

  • don't do it.

  • capacitor is simply to install, there are + and -, just get the power cable from car batter first to the capacitor also with ground, and then from capacitor conect what u need.... if u dont have a cool sub that request alot of power u dont need a capacitor, it is usefull when u have subs

  • okay if i have two 1200 watt subs and a 800w amp then would i need a capacitor?

  • you dont "need" one but its always recommended because it puts less stress on your alternator and battery

  • depents how many cold amps your battery pushes.

  • yea sure

  • they recommend a half a farad per 500 watts.

  • no its one farad per 500. and caps are hard on electrical systems. get a better alt

  • i need one

  • ohhhh... that's why the video is no longer here... well.. nevermind then

  • "bigtimejuan" you suck at life

  • I agree.

  • find a ledge a jump your failure

  • was that at hifi center in whitby

  • hey how do you install a premp/crossover/equalizer? ive been lookin all over but cant get help. i have a pioneer cd-635 which has 4 wires and i have a legacy legq12 with 3. im confuse and dont know how to install it. need help. ive watched all your videos but didnt come upon one that covers my problem. thanks if you can help.

  • hey can i hook up two amps with the same hot line from the battery one amp for my 6/9 and one for my two 10 subs? thanks....i just need power to turn them on is it ok to do that?

  • yea, you can go to your local Best Buy, Circut City, or Ultimate Electronics and buy a splitter. It looks like a Y. you run the power cord to the splitter then run 2 sperate power wires to both of the amps.

  • does your amp have an aux. output?

  • yeah no shit, leave this guy alone. he has helped me alot over the last few days. go pick on someone else on youtube that actually doesnt help anyone, like that guy that Rickrolls everyone!

  • shut up guys. he was a great help. Thanks expert village

  • hahaha

  • he aint nigger hahahaha!

  • dont call the chink a nigger when he clearly isnt u racist fuck

  • how do you know he isnt a nigger?

nigger doesnt mean black person you dumbshit. it means ignorant person. when america was first being immigrated to they used to call irish niggers. It has nothing to do with being black.

So by you thinking niggers are black people you are actually the racist fuck. Goodbye

  • actually 'nigger' comes from the word 'negro' which means 'black'.

.... OH sorry.. ahem.. YOU RACIST FUCK

    :)

  • it originally meant someone from nigeria, who are usually of the black persuasion

  • no nigger does mean ignorant not black, sum ppl miss interpet the word n think it means black ppl cause alota ppl call eachother dat but it dnt, so look it up bitch

  • okk
