i really wanted a pleo but i read reviews and loads sed e.g the skin tears and melts,u can here the motors when it moves,u charge it for 3 hours then u can only play with i for 1 hour before it runs out again,the first stage when he is awakaning lasts 45 mins and all he is doing is try ing to stand up and lots more.

It depends, some people dont like things that are obviously fake to them but Pleo is kinda life like (shit, it confuses other animals!) and well, when you either can't have a real pet for allergic or living condition reasons, yes, hes worth it :3

i was thinking about getting one but after seeing this im not too sure. it doesnt get up on its own, it doesnt lay down completely, it doesnt walk around the room or torwards you, and it pretty much does nothing. i dont think its worth the 350 theyre asking for.

It's in the baby stage here and doesn't do much until it "matures". If you don't pet it a lot it gets more independent and will explore on its own.

FWIW... those lined up robots are getting ready to disco dance... no robot was halmed in the making of the vid... aibo owners (like elly and myself) tend to be rather nice to our robots ;) well... except for gold 210 aibos... but they are evil
