The key to this as in anything else, is the basics and the fundamentals. The less calories of various good foods consumed and the more that one can burn by exercise will work wonders. It is the only way.
Fewer calories + More exercise = Weight and fat loss.
I started gaining weight pretty rapidly after I moved to the US in 2000, I haven't been able to reverse it, but I've been able to stop gaining more weight by not drinking soda anymore...
Stop at 2:04 then eat. I think it's more delicious and save time. As a busy handsome man, I have limited time to do all these thing. By the way, actually bake is a good choice too, right doctor !? Don't angry please. Ha3
@skol56 sorry, ran out of space. You don't have to cut drinking out completely, maybe 3 a week? also, eating at the dinner table shown by studies makes that you'll feel less motivated to grab something to eat because there is some distance. Keeping hydrated is also important because somehow when you aren't properly hydrated you feel the need to eat.
Remember, don't set your goals too high! because this stuff takes time. I used to be 99kg when I was 13 5'9; now 82kg 15ys 6'1,
@skol56 Have you tried the atkins diet? it mainly cuts out carbs from your diet (you have to eat a little bit of carbs of course, e.g. rice) my dad lost 30kg in about an 8 month span but was on his was to becoming a diabetic himself. Now, you don't have to go to the the gym 24/7, for example, go out for long walks or go to the gym and hit the bikes (lowers the stress on the knees which I also had before I lost weight) and don't set goals too high.
@MrWarenia wow i love you for that comment... i lived in germany 15 years and came here and gained 4 pounds... why? because I ATE AMERICAN.... i need to go back cant wait till i finally do that way i dont have to go OUT OF MY to walk a few miles a day or exercise.... i just do... living life
@MrWarenia eat like whom? Australians? Where they make sure you eat as damn much as humanly possible lol. They are the most obese population in the world.
@PeaceUdo actually america is the fattest country in the world: every 4th people is highly overweight. But I agree that australians are also fatasses. And british are too.
@MrWarenia Actually, the diet shown looked pretty typically-American to me. Granted, it's British, as is the author, but the culinary traditions have not separated all that much in the few centuries since a bunch of Brits floated over here and started their own colony.
"Diets don't work!" is my motto as a Nutritionist, so I loved the fact that there is no diets on this book. Hope I can read it one day...

American diet wouldn't be so bad if they actually went outside to work off what they ate.
