Hey mate, if you're keen to destroy some tyres, park the front wheels against the kerb, turn traction control off, "e-brake" on and have it in tiptronic... should be good to get into 4th gear! :)
@WRS493 It only works with the ones that have engine start buttons i think.
As soon as you start your car *there's a 30 sec time limit* Step 1: put your foot down on the E-brake and leave it *engaged*, then press the Brake pedal twice fully. Step 2: then disengage the E-brake and put your foot down on the Brake and hold it, engage the E-brake pedal twice in a row then disengage it, Then repeat step 1!!
So three steps in total. It's easy as pie the first time might be difficult.
I posted a link earlier but i think youtube removed it for some reason. So if you don't get what i explained just google "Toyota Owners Club Aurion traction control" Or something like that, You'll find a thread about it with the steps.
Its all good, Just be careful yeah, Can get pretty crazy at times when you full throttle it without TC on lol. Not to mention its not good for the tires!.
Haha. I'll be careful, don't you worry about that. :) I just want to turn it off just for an experiment, see the result, and yeah, even with traction on, the tires are wearing thin.
How did u turn the Traction off in the Aurion i thought they have it on full-time, i have an 08 Aurion ZR6 and traction is on full-time..You could of got a low 6 sec 0-100 if it wernt for the major burnout lol..
As soon as you start the engine make sure you keep your gear in Park. Engage the E-brake, Then press your foot on the brake pedal twice. Then disengage the E-Brake, Then Put your foot down on the brake and keep it there, Then engage and disengage the E-brake twice. Now do the first step over again; Engage E-brake, Put foot on brake pedal twice. And VOIALA!, Should turn off traction.
You have to do it quick too, As soon as you start the engine do it. In less than 30 seconds.
that tyre squeal is awesome

Haha maybe when i have to change em.
Which is about right now. My front tires got chunks missing and the drive is now shaky from 100 and onwards.
Might do a regular burnout, though. with the camera recording from outside this time.
