  • The most important aspect of any fitness goal is rest, you can't be staying up all night playing games. Get to sleep! But I'm sorry I've had to dislike simply because this diet is completely messed up for weight loss or even fitness and strength. Every one should be looking into High Protein, Med/High Fat, and low/very low carbs, e.g. The Atkins Diet

  • I wish to know if any individual discovered of DietOramy diet regime (google for additional information)? I've come across of it from a friend of mine who shed many unwanted weight, however he's a little like a fanatic, so is there anyone ordinary out there ^^ to be able to confirm the actual efficiency of this food regimen?

  • great video dunkus. i enjoy weight lifting and gaming too. i have only been doing weights for about 3 months though and i just don't seem to be bulking up anymore i think its mainly to do with my diet so thanks alot mate. i am at university so i can't really afford to buy tonnes of chicken breasts but i think i will try and just buy chicken breasts, brockerly and pasta. can i ask at the moment i do all body workout 3 times a week should i change to 5 day workouts? eg. bi and tri's one day etc.

    Doesn't matter what one eats,it's all about calorie consumption. Over eat calories=gain weight and vise versa. Though I always recommend eating "healthier foods" vs junk food to lose weight.

  • Quickest way to lose weight? Go to University on a pittance of a student loan, all I eat is a bowl of pasta with grilled vegetables for dinner and a few cups of tea during the day. Not the healthiest way but I have done it for two years and I have had no negative consequences

  • Tip about shrimp you never want to buy Shrimp not from the US, NPR a few months back had a guy on that said Shrimp from Thailand, China, etc. etc. keep their shrimp in cesspools, they drain swampy areas throw shrimp in the new "ponds" and throw in shrimp, the shrimp live in that "pond" with their shit and piss and they have to inject the shrimp with antibodies so they dont die. So your'e basically eating "shit shrimp". USA has stricter Laws obviously on how shrimp is prepared.

  • I know that it's been said in the comments a lot, but I want to say it too. As good as things like frozen, canned, or preserved fruits, veggies, and proteins are, nothing is tastier (or better for you) than local produce and meats, especially organic stuff (if you can afford it as it's more expensive, at least where I live). However, ObesePlatypus made a good point. Dunkus is a 20 something yr. old guy who likes making quick and convenient meals. As far as video stuff goes, it's pretty decent.

  • @MrDunkus I hear ya...try something like I made last night. Get a whole chicken, put the pan in the oven as it comes up to temperature. Cut your sweet potatoes up and toss with with olive oil/salt/pepper...when oven is up to temperature, throw potatoes at bottom of pan and put chicken in. Roast veggies in separate dish as chicken cooks. Dinner/lunch for a couple days!

  • You got some handy tips there. I lost 40 pounds in the last 4 months. My weight dropped from 165 to 122 pounds. But my 165 pounds was more fat thn muscles.

    Eat healthy and work out. I got the benefit tht I had a new job 4 months ago, which was actually a workout itself.

  • Ok people saying this is not a good diet, your dumb. This is a good healthy diet that tastes GOOD! Sure, you can do alot of other crap like growing your own vegies or putting crap in a blender and drinking it before you puke, but that is not what alot of people want to do. This diet has a balance of meat and vege which is healthy. btw, growing your own vegies and farming your own animals is a JOB, and im pretty sure Matt already has one of those

  • @ilikepiecuzitspie If you eat 2 large meals a day your body will start storing fat for the times you don't eat and need energy. By eating 5 small meals a day your body will not store fat as much because it can take the energy right out of the food you just ate. So it's basicly good for all, not just for weight lifters.

  • I'm a boxer, and to keep in shape, I do feed my body healthy snacks ever two and half hours. I eat very healthy things like raw vegetables and fresh fruits. Excersize is also a big part of the battle. I use protein to help give my body an edge, and to help muscle growth and health. Being a boxer means that you have to have stamina, and cardio is just as important as excersizes such as push-ups, and other muscle-building activities.

  • this isn't really a healthy thing but you reminded me of it when you brought out the rotel tomatoes. if you take those tomatoes and melt down velveta cheese, it makes for the best queso dip ever xD my mom makes it sometimes and its AMAZING, OH and to add on i agree man i loooove hot food. i never have cold food at home EVER

  • @TheTjanzelve Never call anything a diet. Call it Nutrition. Carbs are no real issue unless your body tends to hold a lot of water weight. Never try to cut carbs out of your diet due to the fact when you start eating them again, you will plump like a balloon, and you will suddenly see 10 lbs in a week. Carbs are good for your body, they keep your skin hydrated and your organs nice and moist.

  • @ThePhuzz that isn't right, but i agree, if you cut down carbs and go LCHF then you have to stick to it otherwise you'll gain weight like crazy, however if you have knowlegde you know that carbs bad for you, and its best to minimize it and increase the level of fat and protein, and of course eat fresh and organic food, stay away from sugar !

  • 1 Liter only burns 33 calories, and 3 liters is ALOT of water, especially because most people drink very little water.

  • Ice cold water helps your metabolism and to burn calories faster. I drink at least 3 litres of ice cold water a day

    2 hours later: 4 slices of dark bread with chicken,turkey, roastbeaf, pinutbutter and something with sugar

    lunch: 4 slices of bread with chicken turkey, whey shake and a banana

    2 hours later: skimmed quark with pineapple pieces.

    evening dinner: whole grain rice, with chicken, turkey steak, or fish, and a lot of vegetable, make sure you cooked everything never in the oven, or baked. and a coked egg.

    before sleep: skimmed quark

  • Fresh juice is actually bad for a diet. It contains so much sugar. Fact is a glass of fresh orange juice contains 330 calories. Whereas an orange contains 60 calories. Go for the fresh fruit and not the juice. Drink plenty of water instead. Also try to drink 2 glasses of water before a meal, it boosts your dijestive metabolism which will burn away that fat 40% more efficiently. These little things can help a lot over time.

  • The best thing do do when dieting is to make the food from scratch, that means you know what goes in it so you don't ingest the food additives. As an added bonus it usually tastes better as well. Oh and if a product has two options one with real sugar and one with artificial sweetener, always go for sugar, sweetener raises your chance of getting cancer by a silly amount.
