i hate it that some bands still (i mean its 2010 ffs!) have huge loss in rythm guitar volume during leads . These things can be fixed easily nowdays . Look at Meshuggah for example . When Thordendale kicks his pedal and goes of on a alien psycho solo improvisation it sends a signal to Hagströms gear so that his guitar produces a slight delay in the left speaker making it appear like two guitars and the backrounds riffs remain as powerfull as before .
