  • Call us up for tech support it is much easier/faster. 727-572-9011 M-F 9-5 est.

  • also for my oil pressure gauge I am trying to figure out how you connected the sender. When I bought the gauge it never came with anything to connect to the sender. Do I need to take it off the car from somewhere else or do I need to order another kit from you guys?

  • @mitch26564 I'm not sure if you've got it fixed already, but theres an adapter plate they sell for the oil filter. It has plugs in it for you to hook up the sending unit. It's probably the easiest way to do it.

  • Yes, but you can also use an add-a fuse

  • I am trying to figure out how you wires the wires to the fuses. Did you just pull the fuses out and put the wire around the fuse?

  • nice sti btw, you guys should upgrade to the cosworth intake manifold

  • @shizzel122 -good idea. Actually we will be selling that 504HP STI very soon. 727-572-9011

  • please use a digital multi meter instead of a test light...

  • i got a queastion, say i have 3 permium gauages installed, can i wire them all to the same circuits are should i try to wire them to 3 different circuits?

  • @shizzel122 With the Premium series gauges you only need to hok up the first one for power/ground and then simply daisy chain each additional gauge.

  • wow thats a nice place to have the oil filter, mine is hidden in the middle of no where :(

  • On the premium series the senders are a direct plug in from the gauge. The wiring kit is included.

  • @prosportgauges What about the performance series oil temperature sending unit? I bought one from you guys a while ago and am about to install them, but I noticed it wasn't a direct plug-in... What do i do?

  • @faYte0607 black goes to ground and white goes to the gauge.

  • @prosportgauges right, but i meant to ask: how do i "connect" the sending wires to the gauge wires? In the premium series, you just plug them in, but that's not the case in the performance series.

  • How did you wire the senders.

  • damn the oil filter is under the engine? thats awsome.. its a pain to get to in all my cars.

  • How come you guys don't have more vids on your specific gauges. I am looking to buy the Wideband kit, but want to see it in action first. LED one.

  • very nice video man

i have a question though i bought a oil pressure guage and it only came with the oil pressure sender so we went and ordered the oil filter adapter plate but the gauge only came with a harnes containing 4 wires Red for constant power yellow for switched power black for ground and green for the signal i supose cuz we didnt get anythign else. ive seen that other guges have liek a harnes that goes into the oil pressure sender. are we missing parts???

  • Yes it is under the car but tucked up out of the way, so no chance to bottom out on the oil filter.

The only difference on the Greddy one is the price is about double!!

  • just 1Q is the oil filter underneath the car?? :S Do you have any way of protecting it if the car bottoms out for instance??

Nice guide though, looking to get one of these plates for my s2000. I don't think there would be much difference between the prosport and the Greddy sandwich plate? you feel the same?

  • @Nickamsweet

the s2000's oil filter is well protected inside the engine bay. those things have a ton of room and you shouldn't have any issue.

  • Wow great walkthrough... It is to bad I don't have a STI or a Subaru for that matter... Regaurdless nice video and car.

  • i read on your website and it said 06+ subarus sometimes dont fit the oil filter adapter plate i have an 06 sti how would i know if it would fit or not

  • The STI in the Video is an 06'. They fit, it is just tight and may require some bending of the heat sheild.

  • nice walk through

  • Thanks :)

  • great video:)
