    Over 45 years,fatal accident is 0...

    Safety is most important .

  • @CatchMeBlondie dude its japan

  • @CatchMeBlondie Nice try, at 1:00 that announcement is clearly in Japanese.

  • I love traveling on the Shinkansen, sure beats the hell out of AMTRAK.

  • I like it.

  • @emoperson667

    It's Japan.

  • Comment removed

  • Japan got pawned in WW2 yet they came out ahead of everyone else. I guess their people have great determination to strive! "If you can't beat them, get ahead of them in their games" are quotes of the Japanese i bet.

  • @Quy4life see a few of my jap friends told me that after they lost in WW2,they really never gave up the ambition to conquer the world...But they realized that to accomplish that they had to do it technologically and economically wise...

  • WOW! That mostly longest train to type of double deck trains!!!!!

  • Super Cyber-turbostar train was so fastest! Look like very posh of those train.

  • @ccolimon you must be one of paul watsons's rabid whale fucking disciples why dont you go suck a whale dick asswipe

  • Seriously American train is not even aerodynamic...it's just a block of metal with big engine.....

  • @WaiWu THOSE ARE FRIEGHT TRAINS, big difference in technology. And for the most part they don't have to be as aerodynamic, they travel at 80 tops with a huge 16 cylinder 2 stroke diesel engine that connects towards an alternator which leads towards big traction motors on the bottom.

  • So cool...I love Japan...I enjoyed watching this...I filmed a short called "A New York Minute" for those who wish to travel to NY. You can view it on my page!! Enjoy!!

  • Nice train,Japan first introduced these so called bullet trains back in 1964.Now 46 years later, few countries have a train that matches.Japan is really far ahead in the future, even during the past!

  • Cool! So it's a very smooth ride, except when two Shinkansens pass one another.

  • that train is hot

  • How fast does it go? in mph please

  • @cvelizh Speeds vary and are currently approximately 180mph for an N700 or an E5 down to about 130mph for a 100 series. The double deckers you see here are going to be scrapped soon, They run at about 145mph.

  • mean looking trains, why are they so mad looking, excellent video

  • @afterthefox7 i think they look like geese kinda makes sense too

  • uuuhhh noooo, no geese only mean.

  • They doesnt touch the rails! *_* Magnetizing win!

  • These are no magnetic trains

  • @thymol210 There certainly are. Try Googling Linimo Maglev.

  • Beautiful train! Wish I could ride it.

  • E4 rocks

  • the Japanese are awesome!.

  • Visual overdose of Bullet Trains !! love it...

  • Japan...hands down, they are the most technologically advanced cultures in the world...looks like something outta back to the future...lol..do they serve sushi on dem trains...dats what you would called healthy fast food..HIYO!!!!

  • sooooo hayaiiiiiii!!!!!!!!

  • Whoa, look at the front of that train at 2:11!! That's truly space age, it looks like something out of a science fiction movie!! Awesome!!

  • BRAVO! 5 Stars!

  • why the two train connected together?

  • i was wondering that

  • The trains are multiple unit type. Both train units are controlled from one cab. They are used in most subway systems too, but are less noticeable connected bullet train units due to their shape.

  • Each train has a different destination.

The coupled train runs from Tokyo station to Fukushima or Morioka stations, and they are separated there.

    Hayate:Tokyo-Fukushima-Morioka-Hachinohe

    Komachi:Tokyo-Fukushima-Morioka-Akita

    Tsubasa:Tokyo-Fukushima-Shinjo

  • Because when the train arrives at Morioka, they split and the other heads in another direction to Akita.

  • japanese are the best, americans are piss

  • jer the japenese trains are like hektic, they go so fast

  • americans arent piss you dipshitting bastard, and im half japanese so i know

  • japan is so small... it was bombed to shreds in ww2, yet it is the most technically progressive nation on earth. even though germany is doing its part as well im quite envious of the japanese. great nation.

  • bullet trains in japan can go 600 km/h

    lol...

  • @carGT111 No it can't :P

  • i wonder if any Graff writers have tried taggin or bombin that train

  • Japanese people dont graffiti on trains.

    They jump infront if them.

  • lmao true dat

  • I'm one of the 5 billion passengers the system has carried :)

  • awesome, and sweet username

  • 5 bill... thats almost the entire world population

  • random numbers sigh if you mean individual passengers that's impossible, your saying that 90% of the worlds population has been on it including africans e.t.c

  • When i say passengers it refers to trips. Sorry if i gave you the wrong impression.

And no the numbers are not random, bearing in mind the shinkansen started operations in 1964 and runs through the Tokyo-Nagoya-Osaka mega urban areas, where people use the shinkansen like we use the metro, only for longer distances.

  • To clarify some terms in my earlier post the 'trip' refers to a trip that a passenger makes on the train, not a trip that the train itself makes.

  • time to train surf

  • I'm gonna ride when I'm at Japan !

  • SAME THEAM OF RYANAIR LOL

  • they should wack a few o them up in england just imagine how many people would be early for work :O lol

  • Then the train have to stop of places to places constantly. That's kinda hard. People still have to wait for one like they do with buses.

  • I don't want to knock British railways, I really don't, but they were always a political football especially with the conservatives and subsidy to the private companies is far bigger than it was ever to BR when they were nationalised. Factually investment in BR declined whilst in France and Japan it increased. Can anyone comment on Eurostar (British) versus French Eurostar and the Japanese Bullet train etc.

  • The Japanese and the French have invested in rail services which are the envy of the world, the French being nationalised and believe the Japanese is as well. Meanwhile, back in the UK...

  • ...and the US

  • The Eurostar is good in its own ways. I agree that it is on par with the shinkansen, and in many ways is even better, for instance Eurostar and normal trains can share the same station platforms rather than stopping at a different station like they do in Japan due to track differences.

  • Gott a love the E4!

  • Maybe daniel an wheelie are on the train or maybe he can transform to raiden an back to trainobot Japanese roboto

  • I will 2nd drumbago

  • we need one of these from LA to Vegas!

  • Max is my favourite.

  • i want to ride on the train!!!!!!!!!!

but i live in Hokkaido ;(

(Sokoha Shinkansen Ga Hashiranai Kara Ne.)

  • Me To

    But Im In Australia

  • I rode on the Hayate from Hachinohe to Tokyo a couple years ago. It was the smoothest and most quiet ride I've ever been on. I was in the "Green Car", which is farthest away from the engine so there wasn't any noise from the motor or jolting from the other cars. Regardless, I don't think it matters where you sit, you'll still get the ride of your life

  • They run at more than 200KM/h !!??

Errr....yeah I should think they do!

    Don't you mean 200MPH ?

  • hey, nice job if ud like my friend made a few train vids himself, maybe u should go check them out, and sub him while ur at it =] hes tryin to get 100 before christmas, please help him out, 4 more to go thx!!! have a nice night everyone =P

  • yamagata shinkansen

  • Jeder ICE 3 ist schöner!

  • Shinkansen hayainee

    lol

  • I wonder who the boy is XD

  • Futuristic looking! :D

  • so whats the average speed of one of these things?

  • Cool. This is what our American Acela dreams of growing up to be.

  • Doubt it. Train systems are very expensive to maintain. Air needs no maintenance. Only between Boston and NY, LA and SF, maybe.

  • you're one to give advice about sucking dicks, i'd say you're the champion dick sucker of them all.

  • how am i a redneck? i'm not even american, i don't live in america (i live in the middle of tokyo)

  • Five star for this ! :D

  • Is there got a lot of type of Bullet train in Japan?? And what is their top speed?? jus curious :D

  • thier testing train reached 581 Km/hr. and they are aiming to keep the train cruise at 500 Km/hr. check "MagLev"

  • Oic ! Thank you so much for the information !! :D

  • 300 km/h

    Shin Osaka to Hakata

    Series N700 & 500

  • At 3:07 to 3:15, I guess the trains are the E4 double-decker connected to a 400 series.

  • Can anyone tell me how much the ticket cost from Tokyo to Nagoya on Shinkansen? I'm going to Japan this November.

  • 1st 14270yen

    2nd 10780yen

    1hour 36 min

  • How many dollar for 100 yen turn into?

  • about 1

  • is that a mag lab

  • Please stop envying.

train that white pigs make is only the same.

  • sugoidesu!!!

  • haha

Is there a train in Poland?

  • TGV is SHIT... europeans can't make trains and that's a fact... don't be jealous because you know you love Japan's trains...

  • TGV is not the best i know but Germany's ICE kicks ass!

  • Germany's train is OK... however, it's nothing compared to the Shinkansen...

  • actually its like German style vs Japanese which is pretty much the same quality and quietness.

  • some of the shinkansen were designed by german firms (700 series for example).

  • come to think of it, the 500 series was credited to be designed by german train makers, but im pretty sure the 700 series is all japan's idea, i mean u dont see anyone else with duckbills out there, do you?

  • that's correct it was the 500nozomi not the 700. i realized i typed it in wrong after i posted it but was too lazy to fix it. hah. the 700 is a great train though. rode it on the tohoku hayate shinkansen. very fast, very smooth.

  • lol, i bet ur starting to be annoyed by my little corrections, the 700 series runs the tokaido and sanyo lines by JR central and west while the tohoku hayate line is run by E2 series which look close to the 700s because of their nose shape, and are operated by JR east.

  • fuck korea.suck my dick

  • what is wrong with you???

  • lol dwarfs, I'm not even sure if thats supposed to be insulting so go screw urself, japan rules.

  • These trains look like airplanes without wings

    Nice video mabo3

  • I think what you said there is very discriminatory. you better watch what you say nexttime. I happen to love the japanese big and small

  • hey i need some facts about this can someone help me out???

  • Meglevs are not only fast but it is the most advanced train system ever made by humans and it is completely different. it only uses magnets that are on the underbelly of the main locomotive. Basically the reason the japanese have these is because they are technologically advanced thanks to our care trade and positive notoriety with them. they can go up to at least 500 mph in some case and it is safe. the US was going to make one in the DC area but its scrubbed or on hold. check wikipedia

  • One of the things that should be on a us infrastucture future list..NYC 2 LA , Miami 2 Providence, San Diego 2 Seattle 500mph trains..But when all is said and done we would proboly end up with a over priced train that barely cracks 140mph, and only caters to poiticians, oops I forgot about the Acela

  • WORD

  • A thing of beauty...Japan is way ahead of the resto of the world as far as this type of thing.

  • super :)

  • They're like fricken spaceships pulling in and out of a dock. Why can't we have a transportation system like that here in the US?

  • because we're car happy

  • Because having a car is so important. Saying that sarcastically and the fact that everywhere is so far apart. It would be cool but having cars is more important than solving the problems to congestion, global warming, and our energy problems.

  • yes,full of stupid byers

  • Not THAT is what I call a train!

  • Sorry everyone mistake, I meant to say

now THAT is what I call a train!

  • Wow, how many people does that double decker carry???

  • That train is called Series E4. And E4 can carry a total of 1,634 passengers.

This is highest capacity train in the world.

  • That train is called Series E4. E4 can carry a total of 1,634 passengers.

This is the highest-capacity train in the world.

  • damn this is crazy how many trains passing in a minute?

if i m alone at the sation i will get scared

  • I wonder What Will Happen If I manage to sit on the nose of the 1:47 train...

  • 請問那攝影師站在那邊多久了啊?

  • england and france shud take away the euro

star and use the bullet train

  • Uk will be using the bullet train!

  • the UK will be using a high speed train, just not the bullet train. lemmie explain. the bullet train nickname comes from the original shinkansen's train desingn, the 0 series. the front of this train looks like a bullet, and it earned the nickname bullet train.

  • what wrong with the Euro star ?

  • BFrRaken, Eurostar is a TGV, so it's a bullet train too! the main difference with normal TGV is the speed. Eurostar runs at 300km/h(186mph) while TGV Duplex and Atlantique runs at 320km/h(200mph)

  • the bullet train name comes from the original shinkansen design, the 0 series has a distinct nose to it, which resembles a bullet. thats how it earned the name "bullet train"

  • Australia needs these trains between Brisbane - Sydney - Canberra - Melbourne to complete with the airlines.

  • Cairo to Buenos Aires? Damn... that must be the largest bridge ever built...

  • no stupid it's a tunnel

  • Re: "I got a bullet train from Cairo to Buenos Aries which took only 3 minutes. No sooner had I sat down to admire the view when I had to get up and get off." {comment by carntspell}

Are you saying it took you three minutes to travel from Egypt in Northern Africa to Buenos Aires in Argentina, South America? I don't believe you.

  • I think that my fellow American was mentioning "richest nation in the world" in a sarcastic context, referring to our poor transportation infrastructure. Believe me, we're clamoring for HSR in our part of the country (which is not middle "Amurrika", of course).

  • I'm in Missouri, and no, we don't call it "Amurrika". That's the South.

  • The JR found out that the special Nekomimi brakes our only useful when the train is above 340km/h, and they said they are not going to put in the Nekomimi into service.

  • well uk getting some for the 2012 wooop!

  • I got a bullet train from Cairo to Buenos Aries which took only 3 minutes. No sooner had I sat down to admire the view when I had to get up and get off.

  • Understood

  • Actually the TGV only goes 574+ km/h the Japanese Maglev went 581 km/h. I'm sure you've seen that on youtube. The reason why I think the Japanese are better in building faster bullet trains than the Europeans is because they invented it.

  • The Japanese have the fastest bullet train in the world not Europe.

  • I would love to have a drive of these trains. I drive Double Decker Electrics. Max speed im allowed is 115km/h. My trains have the aerodynamics modeled off a brick.

  • Why can't my country (Brazil) be rich???

We don't have nothing that compares to that here.

    Great video

  • I'm from the US, richest nation in the world and we don't have anything like that either

  • richest nation on earth eh? not to put a damper on your spirits but your currency is about as devalued as it's ever been and your trade deficit is the largest in the world and only getting bigger. the us is actually one of the poorest nations in the world and is being kept afloat only by foreign investments.

  • The US doesn't have trains because you sold out to Detroit a long time ago and also the fact that your major cities are too far apart.

And...and you are not the richest country on a per capita basis, which matters more to the individual.

  • Maybe US is the richest nation in the world, but definitely is not the most developed...

  • TGV's record is under special condition: fewer pasenger cars than usual, special track, which was wrecked after the test.

    FASTECH 360 doesn't damage tracks.

  • We people from Melbourne Australia could only dream about bullet trains. Our Railway System is a fucking nightmare.

  • lols watch the Europeans and Japanese kill each other over whose train kicks more ass... haha :D

  • Unfortunately the JR 500 is to be replaced by the less attractive but economically cheaper N700 characterised by its flat 'duck-bill' nose. Come 2011 the next-generation of Shinkansen, the aptly named "cat-eared Shinkansen" OR "Nekomimi Shinkansen", the FASTECH 360 will be put into service. Maximum speed of this futuristic train, a whopping 405 km/h (252 mph)!
