That's cool! I've used gloss medium for photo transfer but never knew you could use hairspray. Maybe if you let the picture rest on the paper for a little longer the ink will lift off better? Also, can i use hairspray on canvas?
Good question @gailyanne...this is a mixed media art technique that can be used on top of paint or other things that people don't necessarily want to run through their printer.
I thought this was very interesting and something I haven't tried yet..........Thanks for the ideas

Can this same technique be used to transfer words onto wooden blocks? If not, do you know what will?

if the photo is in colour will it come out in colour after the transfer? Just curious :)

@3rkie Yes it will work with color but the color may be lighter if it doesn't transfer completely.

Why not just print the image on the cardstock you used in your cricket? Seems like a waste the Avery sheets.
