I am 100% evolution, but i absolutely abhor abortion. I also know about the bible saying that the people of israel were monotheist, but apparently archaeology shows Yahweh and his Ashera (female goddess) giving blessings.

I really appreciate the posting of this lecture/debate and although i disagree with his view and his conclusions, i understand the need to see from another view. Thank you slaves. slaves4christ...

i had the honor of meeting kent hovind when i was young at dinosaur adventure land. i am 19 years old and because of him i have never smoked tobacco, done any drugs, or had a drop of alcohol.

and to all you haters, kent hovind has touched many peoples hearts including my own. he has done way more good than any of you. so why dont you stop trying to protect such a meaningless cause and change someones life.

@spec24 I highly doubt that. If you really think that then rip his argument apart yourself. It's not possible. I understand that he cannot prove Creation, but he certainly has an excellent argument. Evolution is not provable. Evolution is just as much a religion as Creation is. Evolution is based on circular reasoning and assumptions, not observable science.

@34craigjan I sympathize with you, but have to respectfully disagree with you. Kent always says "do something" after you accept Jesus. That sounds like a working faith to me. And repentance means turning from sin, which he professes of himself all the time (such as avoiding alcohol.... Not necessarily a sin in itself, but he recognizes the potential for alcohol to lead to sin). I think you missed it because he does sound a little self-righteous at times.

although Kent is a very intelligent creation speaker, I disagree with his teaching on forgiveness. A person doesn't receive God's forgiveness by simply asking Him but through repentance and a working faith in Jesus Christ. You need to forsake any known sin and give all to Christ that He then may cleanse and forgive. That's what the bible teaches.

I haved been so puzzled by dinasaur fossils, never hear preachers discuss subject, but after hearing Hovind I realize that preachers cant waste time trying to convince atheists, just as Hovind says.

This was one of his early lectures, he has gotton much better.
