Its pretty kewl. But you made some minor mistakes:

1. Red eyes instead of green ones.

2. The feets have crosses on the end of every leg(Sorry hard to explain)

3. The height. It was abit small.

4. I do understand that you wanted the ppl to see the heat ray. But in the book, the heatray was invisible. Basicly, you couldn't see the ray itself.

5. You forgot Ullah sound :P

@TheBastard97 Well in the book the tripod is very different. It looked more like a squid. The one you're referring to is the one that is on the cover on Jeff Wayne's album. But good points there. And also in the ps1 game the heat ray can be seen, I'm just saying. Remember that each War of the worlds media (like films etc) all see the martians differently. Try comparing this tripod with Spielberg's tripod (in the 2005 movie)

To whoever made this animation. Man, would I love to see a War Of The Worlds movie using these tripods, and much more true to the original story, BUT in modern day. Nice work!

These tripods are actually not faithful to the original story at all other than the fact that they have three legs. I disliked the 2005 Hollywood movie intensely, but their iteration of the tripods was much more accurate than these (save for the shields.)

Giving them shields is the only way they can make the Martians formidable in a modern day scenario. Tall walkers would get ripped up by current battlefield technology - part of the reason no one seriously considers mechs for the military.
